Noisy party - nothing that I can do?

There is a party 3 houses down from where I live, with very load music ouside, they have a DJ and a sound system  ...
I tryed calling the police (I have to work tomorrow and it's like trying to sleep in a club), but they gave me the number of the local environmental office. I called them, they gave me a call back an hour later and asked if they can come in my house to asses the noise level, in case it becomes a legal matter and so on...
I thought that you can make an annoymous complaint without the persons noing exactly which neighbour made the complaint, I am afraid now and I just have to try to pass the night in this noise....

This became a regular problem in my previous road. In the end someone put a brick through the offending window. You should not do this. But it did the trick.Been away for a while.0

Call the cops again with allegations of drug usage (a fair assumption - to be up partying at this time in the morning they must all be on speed).Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I think you will find making totally unfounded allegations risks you being charged with wasting police time.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I'm afraid I regularly used to stay at parties till well after 1am (the time the op was moaning about) without drug use - just because you can't hack it doesn't mean everyone else can't. By your logic all marathon runners who do sub 3hr marathons must be on drugs, or 4 minute milers etc... (of course I'm assuming you're not a decent athlete here)0 -
But this is normal in Broken Britain during the Summer...
Sun+dolehopper+empty head=windows open+music up+drinking binge+sid the neighboursFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

So at 1am people have a few mates round and having a laugh. Neighbour gets peeved and without even speaking to them damages property - who's more of the trouble maker? Judging by how annoyed they are I'm sure they would have said if it was a regular occurrence.0 -
If they "want a laugh" at 1am then maybe they should laugh and get !!!!ed earlier down the pub and not assume that neighbours want to be part of their little party.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). You could knock on the door and ask them to turn it down? They might not realise how loud it is.0
