    You're definitely not alone! Well done on your journey so far. With the exception of a carpy day today it sounds as though you have the right mindset to get where you want to be.

    And thanks for giving me a reminder about doing a boot sale. I have loads to sell but despite writing it on the calendar twice have come up with 'better' things to do. And you can always guarantee that these 'better' things cost more money that I'd make at a boot sale!

    Have subscribed so look forward to reading about how you get on.

    Good luck! LG

    Thanks BM and lizguil, it's nice to know there's peeps out there who understand...am not usually this emotional, sometimes other stuff just adds up on the stress-meter and it all goes a bit pear-shaped...will look at the old-style thread, thanks, not ventured that way yet, and I've YET to do a booty...weather permitting lol!

    It's sometimes as well to organise yourself so you do certain things seasonally.
    Sort out your finances throughout the year, but things like car booting is for the spring/summer months, then give yourself some nice hobbies for autumn/winter, like preserve making and indoor maintenance?

    So how did you get on today?

    I've just realised that my breadmaker has a jam making programme - which seems much more straightforward than doing it in a pan! Might give it a go and see what it tastes like.

    Hope car boot goes well tomorrow if you make it to the boot sale! LG

    Thanks for asking how I was the other day Liz...haven't been able to do a bootsale due to the dire weather but it's on the agenda for when the weather turns better.

    Not been lurking as much for the past few days as been tied up with other stuff but I have:

    1) Re-jigged my cards so that my highest interest c/c is now at 6.9% for it's life;

    2) Found/added student loan to snowballs

    3) DFD is still the same as my interest will be less and only £30 extra overpayment from previous snowball overpayment calculations (yay!)

    4) Have a load of rhubarb I need to think of what to do with (any ideas?) Can only think of crumble and/or chutney/sauce atm

    5) Am tired...need some sleep lol!

    Hope everyone is well!

    Made my first proper overpayment as it was payday, so PaD'd an extra £327 towards debts...happy days!
