How to unlock 3 simcard

Hi,

I have a 3 sim with 10 pounds but it is not working in my unlocked nokia mobile.
I was told by somebody that 3 always lock their sim.

Does anybody has an idea how to unlock 3 sim?

Regards,

3 charge £15 to unlock it themselves. Or that was the case about 1-2 years ago when I called.

    Regards,

Are you certain the SIM is locked?

Is it definitely a 3G phone you're putting it in?

    cheers

is it asking for a PUK code ???

if so you need to ask Three for the PUK code , if you try more than 10 times you will permanently lock the sim card

You can't unlock a sim card as far as I know. Phones can be unlocked. That is assuming by unlock you mean enable it to be used on a different network.
This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !

I don't think either of those are 3G phones.

3 ONLY allow 3G handsets on their network, 2G fall back on the their partner network who change 3 for the airtime etc you use.

Neither of those phones are 3G. You need a 3G unlocked phone or a 3 branded phone for a 3 sim to work.
