Found a great way to shop without being tempted. I was pushed for time this morning as I was meeting DD in the next town so almost had to run round the supermarket. The advantage was I didn't have time to browse or look for things on offer that I didn't really need and came home with only the essentials. Shop when you're in a hurry, it can save you a small fortune0

Does anyone actually use the 9p baby shampoo on their hair? Interested to see how it works out on adult hair.0

Apologies if this has already been "done" - but I used to spend loads on products to rehydrate and soften hard skin on my feet/heels.
A good rub with vaseline after showers and before going to bed (I also sometimes put on when at home, cover with socks and crocs-type footwear) does the job much better than any of the products I tried.
I've been doing this for the last few nights and it has definitely made a difference to my feet.Much better then my usual foot cream,so thanks!I'll carry on using vaseline from now on.0 -

Have tried it but no good on my hair but think that may be because I have very thick hair. My DH has used it on his very fine hair and it was OK so I suppose the answer is "it depends on your hair type" as to whether or not it's any good.

I don't use it myself but I have a couple of friends (with children) that use it rather than buying lots of different shampoos. One friend has dyed hair and she says the shampoo keeps the dye fresher looking for longer in her hair and the other friend has frizzy hair and she thinks it helps calm it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Glad it helped! I also use vaseline on my fingernails and rub into the cuticle as I used to get very dry cuticles - works a dream on those too.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Always use the smaller trolley for the weekly shop. This keeps my budget down as I see it start to overflow & stop shopping.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

Another tip for hard skin on your feet!!
Add 5 aspirin( presently 25p for 16 at Tesco) to a basin of warm water, and then leave your feet to soak in this for a while. The active ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid which is used in various chemical peels, and softens the skin beautifully, without any scrubbing!0 -
