do you ever pick small change up off the floor, i often find pennies and 5p pieces people have dropped and probably cant be bothered to pick up but every little helps my coin jar, i fill it then change it at the bank every couple of months, this pays for a night out or i take my grandson out for the day with it, my son was disgusted when he found out i did this and said its 'skanky' and 'trampy' i really dont think it is-mind you i dont let people see me doing it!2

Julie, I pick up small change from the floor. Ive done this ever since I saw a programme where some poor people salt mining earned the equivalent of 2 pence per day. I dont consider it trampy at all and now even my son picks up pennies too. The money goes into a loose change piggie that gets emptied in either times of cash flow crisis or when there is an disaster appeal for some awful event. More people pick up pennies than drop them :rotfl:Logic will get you from A to B but imagination can take you anywhere!

Me too! I just picked up a £1 coin that was lying on the floor by the checkout at the garden centre. Not sure if anyone saw me but wasn't really bothered if they did!0

Just a quick question re: dying old jeans...if you put the dye in the washing machine, will you have problems with residual dye in the machine dying your white wash grey??
Also does any dye come off on your skin the first couple of time you wear the jeans?0 -
An old mascara brush, if properly cleaned, can be reused to clear a plug hole
