getting out of a Vodafone contract

Hi all,
Our vodafone contracts (2 of them) end in November 2011 but since November 10 we have not been able to get any signal in our village.
I have rang Vodafone a few times and they have told me that as it was our decision to move house it is our problem (i can understand that) but they have also told us that because we are on Your Plan we can't even downgrade our packages.
we are desperate to get out of these contracts so we can actually get some signal - we have even bought 2g phones at vodafones recommendation despite having the contracts for 3g phones.
Is there any way to get out of these early without paying the hefty sums?

Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

No sorry. - They are right - it is not their fault you moved into an area with no coverage0

thought Vodaphone offered a box to plug into a landline to give you a locla signal ?
Does anyone get a signal in your village Voda are usually thought to have the best network
But no afraid you can't get out of the contractTANSTAAFL !0 -
no one in the village, or even surrounding villages can get a signal - the guy on the phone even said that he's not seen a signal coverage that bad in a long time.
They haven't suggested any options for me.Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

They do indeed - http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=templateCClamp&pageID=PPP_0161
That will give the OP coverage at home at least (for 3G phones only).0 -
robt is right in both aspects.
No you can't cancel, you moved its your problem. Only if you had not moved and the signal dropped would you have a case.
And yes Sure Signal, basically a mini mobile mast in our house giving coverage to vodafone mobiles, it then feeds the data down your internet connection to vodafone.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Hi boltonangel,
If you could contact us here http://!!!!!!!/JhPl0 with WRT135 in the title, then we can look at the issue a little closer for you and see if there is any way round the problem you have.
All the best,
Andy
