Morning All :hello:
1 more AFD for me making 4 AFDS out of my 8 please Sparkles. No bells last night;)
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Really Lurks? What makes you think that :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes please do tell!
Where are you off to Lurks?
No I work full time at this job DB, suits me, lots of peace and quiet to get stuff done
When are your tests?
Perfect sense to me, welcome to my world
115K, well done on your AF'ness so far xxxx
69chick, why are you throwing all the food away  can't you take it with you? When are you moving darn sarf?
NRA, good luck finding a cheap deal xx
SSG, have a less stressful day at work
Morning to everyone else
Best go look for something to eat to take to work, on second thoughts, might pop down the high road at lunchtime and get pie n mash
Unfortunately boss is in today (prob the only day he's doing for the first 3 weeks of the summer hols, which means that I won't be able to have BBC iplayer on through my headphones whilst I'm pretending to workWell no, actually, just for the record, I didn't put iplayer on till 3pm yesterday and I did work solid from 8am to 3pm creating a whole new filing system, then I had a panic cos I realised I needed to fit 2 eastenders in in less than an hour and then would you know it, hadn't talked to a soul all day long but suddenly people started coming in talking to me *rolleyes*
Anyway, not late, believe it or not, but off to make another coffee and get ready for work, bye for now xx
And the crowd sang.....
Are you Budgie
Are you Budgie
Are you Budgie in disguise...
Are you bu-u-udgie in disguiseDetails please!
Curry was described really appeallingly.... can't remember the exact wording but served on Nan bread with 'special salad'. thought it sounded lovelyArrived more or less as expected, but was literally (very small) pieces of marinated chicken on nan bread (no veg/sauce) with a huge amount of 'special salad' that on tasting turned out to be...... coleslaw _pale_ letdown didn't come in to it
I could maybe expect it in a Mr T sandwich, but not a restaurant.....
Where are you off to Lurks?
The only country with a worse economy than ours atm :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

69 Chick, I think you should be proud re SIL - great improvement on your last time there from what you said. Well done!! :T
Checking in as I've been drinking a bit too much every day since I last posted. It started under control but towards the end of last week I was a bit hungover several days in a row.
So I declare to you lovely peeps that I will be alcohol free today. Even if someone pours me a free cold white wine and wafts it under my nose after work.
so there. Have to do it now!
I want to get at least to double figures this month.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
 Morning all!Miss_Piggy wrote: »Then I spent what felt like ALL the night dreaming about cooking courgettes!!! (I have a glut of them as my plants have gone bananas....must be playing on my mind!!). So got up this morning and starting cooking...have roast vegetables on the go and may have a bash at courgettes in passata and mozarella.
Anyway, must go check my courgettes!:rotfl:
xx
Same courgette emergency here too MissP. I made a courgette and tomato gratin at the w/end. OK but a bit watery - must try harder!! I sliced and froze a couple yesterday (to use in casseroles later) but it seems like I'm having to think hard on the meal planning to keep ahead of them!!randomname wrote: »Mrs Randomname's cataract op. a great success.
That's really good news about the eye and the AF:TI don't really feel like being AF as I'm supposed to be off out socialising tonight but I haven't met my targets for a few months this year so I want at least 10 AF days this month.
Well done for being so positive 115K. I know what you mean about hitting that magic 10AF. I'm target free but 10 is a big milestone and if I can better it then:D
Will you be brushing up on your Zorba dancing and plate smashing Lurky? That curry sounds a real cheat, wasn't a nouvelle cuisine restaurant was it? Sounds like artiness on the cheap to me.
Is Budgie back from holiday on the Riviera yet? or was it two weeks?0 -

Will you be brushing up on your Zorba dancing and plate smashing Lurky?
My dancing skills need NO brushing up, I can assure you of that:rotfl:
come to think of it, my plate smashing is pretty good atm.....another one bit the dust the other day.....
That curry sounds a real cheat, wasn't a nouvelle cuisine restaurant was it? Sounds like artiness on the cheap to me.
wouldn't mind if it had been... supposed to be the finest Indian restaurant in.... the town I was in. Think I'll be "sticking to me knitting" next time.......
Miss P - that IS normal service, isn't it? :rotfl: :rotfl:Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh
