Honeybear, just coming on to wish you well, having met you t'other day through Cheery - I'm so sorry you're going through such a hard time. I like the "thanks" button on here too, and I'm glad you find it supportive - hope you have RL support too, of course.

And I absolutely love your sig - self respect is my barometer in this world. Thank you for summing it up so succinctly.

I did answer your question and explain why I answered as I had.

There has only been a couple of posts on here ever that I haven't thanked, due to them being spam, as I find the thanks on here a huge part of the support we all offer each other.

I didn't know anything about your circumstances when I said I found your comments insensitive. I'm incredibly sorry that you went through something so awful. However I still found insensitive.

Finally, the abusive PM was out of order and has truly upset me

    Hi Guys

Sorry I have not been about the past week :o

But goodness I have just been skimming the posts very quickly, and Budgie is troubled ..............................

Now a troubled Budgie is a worried Budgie..............

Before I go on, I just wanted to tell you of a very distressing episode that happened to me last week. I was sitting at my desk chatting away as I do. Next thing there is an almighty bang and Budgie looks out of her office window to see a pick up truck has backed into a car and is wedged through the passanger window.

I rushed out and my friend calls the ambulance, a young lady ran holding a 6 month old baby in her arms. I went to her and she was obviously distraught her mother was driving and due to shock could not get out of the car. The baby had been in her car seat in the passenger side, where the truck hit it. The baby was cut and glass was all over her but thankfully her and her mother and grandmother were all ok in the end, physically that is.

They were taken off by ambulance but they called in a few days later to bring a thankyou card. Transpires that her brother had been knocked over when he was 9 years old and he survived but was brain damaged.

    How sad is that?

Also when all of this was going on we also had a lady in our office crying as 5 years previously her brother had been killed in a car accident.

The whole thing was so upsetting, but it was strange............ So much chaos and then after the ambulances and police cars left and the glass was brushed up, it was as if it had never happened.

When the young lady called into the office she said that the paramedics had told her that if she had been sitting in the passenger seat then she the impact would have taken her head off.

For some reason that day she sat in the back and not in the front as she usually did.

The young truck driver was unhurt too but of course so distressed.

The reason for me relaying this story is because it brings it home to you, just how lives can be changed forever. That day they were lucky, but as we know on another day ...........It has and always will be on my signature to: Cherish the ones you love. :A

We should all be mindful to try and help each other as much as we can, which brings me to our: absolutely wonderful and adorable care bear, Ms Honey Bear. :A Sweetheart bear hugs (()) to you Angel and lots of Budgie love :A it is always the case that we type somethings which may be misunderstood by others. I know what a truly wonderful person you are and you have given much help and support on here to everyone. I am sorry that you have been very upset today, but you are loved and very special so remember that and when the time is right, you will meet someone who will appreciate you and the qualities that you have.

It may suprise you that Budgie has her faults ;) but being with someone is to love them for their good points and also their bad.

Things have never been better between Mr Budgie and I, having a break has been good for us and we have realised that we would be silly to part.

The saying is true that what is meant for you does not pass you by............

So chin up my Dear Bear Friend, its time to: "take care of you". :A xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have more to say but feel I have waffled :o

Cherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home :)
