    Hey chaps

I drank last night - not alot but I did have 3 glasses of wine. Ended up wanting more to drink and told myself not to be stupid.

    When I'm drinking

I don't like to go to sleep - I ended up in bed with Dr Who (ooh er missus) on my laptop and fell asleep watching it
I have horrible paranoia hte next day - its awful - what did I do, what did I say, was I drunk, did DD notice I'd had 3 glasses of wine, did she mind etc, I've lived in this paranoid state for probably on an almost daily basis for over 12 years until I found this thread.
Wandering around today glumsome and a bit flat

Why on earth do people bother - OK maybe its an addiction and that's another issue - we can talk ourselves up to the moon and back on that one.

But without the non-exhausting head !!!! of the day after drinking (I don't especially get ill or hangovers) lifes actually alot calmer, better, nicer and relaxed.

I sleep better and am not 'terrified' to go to bed alone and sleep
    I'm not paranoid and I'm pretty calm/focussed/content.
    I'm nicer to myself.

I only had a couple glasses of wine last night in a 'treatsy' its the weekend and I can have a 'wee' drink.

Wierd. Thesedays I prefer the non-drinking days which I'd never have had without you all - so thanks :)
