Hi. I hope if anyone can help.

I bought a mobile phone (t-mobile) from buymobilephones.net.
I then returned it unused and unopened within 7 days.
I was then confirmed and given a PAC from them via my e-mail. and I used it to transfer my number to orange pay as u go.

Today, I just got a bill and I am being charged for early termination fee for £480.

What can I do?

please help.

1) Contact the dealer in writing to say that you have been incorrectly charged and demanding they get the bill rescinded immediately.

2) Contact the network and explain what happened (they will probably bounce you back to the dealer but is worth at least drawing it to their attention).

3) Ensure you can prove the dealer was notified of cancellation within the 7 days and (should they not respond promptly and positively to your email/letter) pay the bill, send a Letter Before Action demanding repayment within 7 days and then (if they don't pay up) commence legal procedings to recover the money, interest and all court fees.
