    How do I go about getting Google to come back and redo my house as my dustbin is sitting in my drive and it makes my house look untidy?

    I'm quite happy with my Street View photo, nice sunny day and the house looks great. Don't know what all the fuss is about!

    FWIW, I noticed that one of the houses on the local "millionaires row" was blocked, however, if you went to nextdoor's photo and rotated you could see the blocked house perfectly! :rotfl:

    Ithere is a photo of my van etc for all to see ,even my work number on the van is in there ,

    If you don't want anyone to know your work number why on earth have you got it painted on your van??? Or is it usually invisible

    You can't see my house. I'm vaguely disappointed.

    Mind you, the car came down the street on a sunny day with the trees in flower, and the road looks fantastic. I'd be really happy with it if I were selling my house. Blocked-out houses say either high-crime or neighbours with a proven tendency to invent reasons to be offended. Neither are selling points.
    import this
  • My house is also missing - for some reason they seem to have skipped quite a long section of the road.

    You know most burglaries aren't planned in any depth? They'll pick an area, and then find the weakest looking house with relatively good reward.

    But say there was a team of high-tech internet savvy burglars roaming the streets. They look down a road, and they see a house blurred out.

    That simply verifies to them that there is something there that the owner doesn't want them to see. And they are so bothered about it they have gone to the effort of having it removed.

    I bet it increases the infinitesimally small chance of being burgled.

    No one is going to use it as their only source of intelligence.

    I hadn't moved into my house yet. So any burglars will think I'm not living there.
