o2 sim cards
Hi I have a load of o2 pay as you go sim cards that I ordered about 2 years ago from o2 for free. I have never used these sim cards and now want to give them away to people however I am worried that they won't work anymore as they haven't been activated in some cases for 2-3 years since I ordered them.
Some of the sim cards do say on the packaging 'must be activated before <date>' but some just say nothing.
Please can someone advise me if the sim cards that do not have an acitvation date will still work?
I would just open one of these sim card packs and put it in my phone to see if it works however to activate the sim cards they need to be topped up by £10, which obviously I am not willing to do.
Thanks in advance!!!

ring o2 up, give them the phone number of each sim card and ask them what their records say about that particular cards activation date0

Once the activation date has passed the sim card can't be activated. They use those phone numbers for new sim cards. If you put one in your phone, you will probably get a message that says 'limited service' or 'no service', this means the sim can't be activated. You wont even be able to phone the free top up line.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
