If the lawn is very weedy it can be rapidly improved by the application of a spray of Weedol or Verdone.
I must go, I have just spotted another Dandelion bursting into flower. This is the ideal time of year to do spot applications of weed killer.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I have done just about everything I can think of, to rid my grass of weeds, but they just come back bigger and stronger, I bought a tool to dig them out at the roots, so the lawn was full of holes, have used liquid weed and feed, powder weed and feed, spot sprays..... I give up!

For future reference, it's exactly the same as wiring a plug. You just use a cable connector to rejoin the 2 pieces. 5 minute job and the connector would cost a couple of pounds.

oh well, the old blade was well knackered too, so I just got a new one, not very MSE, I'm sure, but nice to have new :)

Its Rotak not Rotal , but if you are googling , you would have found that out by now :D

I bought the slightly larger model two years ago .
Works fine. Small niggel , cable is attached , pain to put away with out cable tying itself in knots.

    I cut cable , its joined , when I use it :D

Yep have the 37 cm one I think also for a couple of years. Been great and cuts pretty well - not too heavy and folds up OK

Cord is fine just wrap it round the handle before you fold it!

Handy little edge trimmers on the Rotak models hich is useful if you need to cut up against any edging etc

I bought the Rotak 32 yesterday after reading the reviews on here, have to say I'm impressed.

I got it from Homebase £58.99 (had vouchers hence location) took it out of the box and it took under 5 minutes to put together. It is extremel lightweight and it feels much more powerful than my Flymo cheapy did. I also like the way that the height adjustment for the grass cutting has been done, you adjust the wheels rather than play about with the blades, an improved design on other mowers I have used!

Definite recommendation for the Rotak 32 :j
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!
