£65.45 is the full amount. If you are sanctioned you will receive nothing for the first two weeks, then a 40% deduction on the full rate for the rest of your sanctioned period, so you will receive approx £40. Sorry, not what you want to hear.
It is possible that your claim will not be sanctioned, it all depends on the circumstances of your dismissal. Are you planning to appeal your dismissal?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Well Ive read through all of it and still am not clear...one part says that the date is date you last worked for the co (a while ago as they were looking into it in which case I would get benefits now) and others say that if it was gross misconduct then they can sanction you but cant find out by how much?
I am going to appeal. The union rep is going to look it up for me and get legal advice. I think both of us were in shock with the outcome.0 -
If you want any help with your appeal it would be worth posting on the Employment board. You will also get people that will play devils advocate (often me!), so you can look at it from the employers point of view.Gone ... or have I?0
