its all about value not price.

Sure it has to be affordable but expensive is often best value, cheapest os often a total waste of money.

look at the experience of one customer who bought cheap sash windows from a company he found on the internet, he has has a nightmare, taken them to court, won the case and is still £thousands out of pocket.

    www.doubleglazingshop-nightmare.co.uk

PS his story is being featured on BBC breakfast time on tuesday 4th May

Moral, chech every claim, dont think cheap is best it NEVER is, and make sure company is GGF member or the workmanship of the local fitters is guaranteed by the manufacturer!

    hope this helps

by the same token the most expensive is never the best either.
and none of the national DG companies offer value for money.

I cant see where you have said how many windows.....?

London prices replica hardwood from top company, weights pulleys, upwards of 2,500 per window!

Modern mass produced, spiral balances, laminated wood circa £1800

Top of the range PVC £1500 fitted

PVC Casement/mock sash (that destroy a buildings character) £500/700
