I just pull up outside in my BMW and give the keys to the minion that stands just inside the entrance (you all know the type, dirty rubber soled shoes, creased shirt, non matching tie and crumpled dirty trousers) and ask to look after the car and make sure I don't get clamped.
I then go to my station and have a flirt and a laugh with the pretty young girl that checks my signature and she prints me off a job spec and I promise to be a good boy and look for work, then thats it 5 mins then I am off to the gym and lunch in Knightsbridge ;o))
I totally believed you until you mentioned the gym. Nobody on the dole is interested in exercise. NOBODY.

I am on six week signing and would love a job, get off the dole and earn money, it also help me become more confident and independant, It would be nice to work, have a life for meself.
I was on this route course that someone reffered me to a month before mysigning weekly, I enjoyed the placement and learnt new things and then when a review came, the employers told college I had a bad smell, instead of telling me she made the college speak to me about it. The college talked to me like I was a little kid and it annoyed me. If I was smelling that bad the employer would have told me, I am now suppose to have a bath every day, I don't do baths I shower and will always shower. College treated me like a kid and it infuriated me, They emplpoyer then told me that she was going to talk to me about it but college made it clear that they would deal with it, and I am wondering what to do,
I don't want to go back to college for what they have done to me, I feel so angry and embarassed but then if I don't go back I don't know what will happen to my JSA.
I am a fully grown adult, responsible for myself and college treat me like a kid, it just plain stupidness.
I honsetly don't know what to do, but this nonsense of bariers to work has to stop, before it upsets somebody else who is less confident than me.0 -

Take heed of their advice - no one is going to employ you if you smell!Gone ... or have I?0 -
is there anyway of getting round the 4 week slave labour work placement on ND. Can you sign off and on again? Do they really stop payments if you dont attend the placement?:footie:0

I did take their advice seriously but for the employer to go behind my back and then to be treated like a kid, it isn't on.
I haven't even had friends, family, support workers, or even the nurse mention about my odor, it was just that college treated me like a kid that got me, Its made me more worried now, every day I wake up and sniff, and get all the beauty treatments out. I am wondering all the time am I smelling, I better get rid of the smell.
But I wonder what else they will say to me next,
I have just applied for four jobs in the past hour.0 -

Telling somebody that they smell is probably one of the most difficult things to say, and I can't think of a way to say it without sounding either patronising or brutal, so I really would not dwell on it. Perhaps you could speak to your GP about it?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Do you think Andy will manage to get past 123 with his next batch of usernames. Jessica123, Devon123? If it walk's like a troll, talk's like a troll and even smell's like a troll. It's a troll*SIGH*
