Good luck at reducing the debt, every little helps and that amount from Natwest isn't little. I'd probably claim if my charges weren't all over the 6 year mark!! Shame Uni days were so far away......

Thanks for your words of encouragement everyone!
SS - how can you be sure it won't get to court? I think if mine does I may end up dropping it. I have already started to change bank.

There have been nearly 1,500 people (1,499 according to the BAG site ;) ) who have successfully reclaimed there charges SO FAR! There are hundreds if not thousands more who are in the process.

Why would they suddenly start going all the court when they don't have a leg to stand on? Even the office of fair trading have judged against them!

I felt exactly how you do now! Will they make an example of me? What if I've done something wrong? I needed reassurances myself.

IF, and it's a big IF, they do decide to see me in court I have absolutely no doubt I will win. Should the worst happen and I lose well all I've lost is £130! I could probably make 10 times that amount by selling my story to The Sun! :rotfl:

Don't give up! They try to scare people and they succeed too many times! Don't be one of those who do drop their claim. You will get every penny you have requested back. You just need to stay calm and patient! ;)

I'll let you know when I get mine! Shouldn't be long now! :j
