TBH I only made my homeless application on the 14th as I was a bit indecisive on where to live at the beggining.
Have you got the number for the DV outreach in your area? it's worth giving them a call, also speak to Shelter, they really know their stuff, their number is 08088004444.
I hope it all works out for you, at least he's being charged, thats a big step for someone to take, I wish I'd of been brave enough to bring charges.
If you need any more advice I'm always here, I dont post much but I do log on every day x
BTW have you informed them of the new baby?0 -
Hiya - v busy here but have scanned whilst someone was talking at me on the phone :cool:Evansangel wrote: »Morning everyone
Lily has cradle cap. Its quite alot of it to.
How can i help it along? I read that you can put baby oil or Vasaline on it overnight and then wash it off in the morning. But she's very hairy and it would mean covering her actual hair in oil/jelly.
Another vote here for the Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo - hubby now uses it for when his head gets scabby when he has been swaeting in his hard hat :rotfl::rotfl:MFD We had a walk around the house last night, each holding the end of a wooden spoon. She took two steps on her own before she realised i'd let go, then fell to her bum.

Has anyone got a Luna? Does it fold like umbrella style? I'm on the market for our next pushchair!
I want one that:
- folds small
- lies back
- has a decent sized basket
- looks nice (!)
Optional parent-facing would/could be a nice feature too...
I've not paid much attention when you've all been on about pushchairs, but i'm only just starting to look at them0 -
How much do you want to spend, Beenie?
My mum's just txt me a pic of a Vtech walker sat in her living room.. found it for £4 in a charity shop when she was donating a bootful of stuff - always comes home with something! :cool:0 -
I tested a Quinny Buzz @ Babies R Us today, just to see what you ladies are talking about ... and I hated it  So heavy and cumbersome.
Beenie, I've our other pushchair for sale on ebay at the moment, it doesn't fold very small but does the other stuff (except parent facing) - and if it doesn't sell it's yours for the price of the courier.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

It's a very satisfying thing, seeing the whole thing lift off :rotfl: I was quite sad that Keira's never came back after that!!
I've been picking off the really loose ones. Love it.
I also cant wait until she starts school and gets nits, i like squishing them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::oAFAIK it is 'caused' by the fact that babies heads aren't combed brushed etc as those things usually take away the dead skin cells in growned ups so after I got rid of Ed's I kept up the combing, a baby brush didn't do anything because his mop is/was too thick!
Yeah, the baby brush only makes Lily's hair fluffy not brushed lol. I do like it fluffy though, its like a little 'frokindofagilr wrote: »Aww SOm lush smiley pic, I have yet to catch E smiling with the camera lol its never to hand when I need it
What i do is half press the button on the cam so it focuses and then start making weird noises and squealing 'LILY WHAT YOU DOIN?" and she usually smiles. Then i can get in on camera :rotfl:jillie1974 wrote: »and the first few weeks i was horny as anything DH thought he had died and gone to heaven.
OH thinks that now :rotfl: Especially as i didn't like him close to me in the last few weeks of pregnancy
Thanks for all your advice about the cradle cap! Im going to try baby oil tonight, if that fails then we're buying some dentanox
Bought some hungry baby milk today in boots for her last night feed and the woman asked for my boots card, i said no as you cant get points on baby milk and there was no point.
She told me (quite smugly to) that you could get points as its not actual baby milk, cue a confused me.
Turns out i was right! Oh how i wanted to say HA in her face, but OH wouldn't let me:rotfl:
