  • Thanks for all the cuteness comments ladies. He is super-cute ATM but unfortunately it is interspersed with clinginess and strop-throwing!! He says Mamma so sweetly but when it is practically all he says (shouting me, crying at me, moaning at me etc) then it can wear a little.

He is also into everything! I can't keep him still for a second and he only wants things that he shouldn't have.

He is lovely but he is a handful!!

Does anyone have any recommendations for really good bath toys? I want to get Caitlin one for her birthday, but so many of them don't seem to live up to the hype on the packaging.

Glad you had a lovely weekend! :)

I highly recommend this. My two love it.

Oh yes - after his dinner tonight he went to get the carpet sweeper, which we thought was lovely and incredibly clever, but then he was going to hurt himself trying to sweep the floor so we had a mega-tantrum because I tried to 'help' him!!

He has been saying 'oh' and doing a wonderful shocked face all day though :A

Boo you should! They are asking £15 on ebay for a childs tutu. You could sell tutu, wings and wand sets :D

i know, why is it when you try and help them, they think it's the worst thing in the world

our tantrums involve her going dead weight and trying to throw herself down. if i've had enough, i lay her down gently and they just walk away saying 'have your tantrum' ...

Choppy - we have this singing hippo which is ace but not overly amusing for longer periods of time.

We have tons of bath toys but none amuse like a couple of sponges and a plastic beaker :D

Yup. Empty shampoo bottle and a cup have always been favourites in my house with all 3.

I either walk away or point and laugh ;)

I am trying to remember where we were the other day when I walked off in public and he picked himself up and ran after me (only a few steps) saying 'mamma' in his sweetest voice!!
