EA - beautiful picture! Hope you're having a lovely party now :D

At my sister's wedding which I couldn't go to (:() they wore all black, no ties and white waistcoats

Mel - Agree with others, just say you aren't concerned and are due to give birth anytime so am sure you will see her soon anyway. :)

Hammy - poor D! But Yey for crawling :j Amazing how fast they are!

I told J he was a clever boy earlier and he clapped :j
He has been clapping all day  We went for a walk down the canal to feed the ducks & got to feed 2 swans with 7 signets :smileyhea then home to play in garden. J loved the paddling pool until he learnt how to escape!

now looking forward to BGT later with a chinese :D

Fattyboo - fairies arrived this morning so we have been out this afternoon to have pics done, tho there was a bit of a wait and T was tired so wasn't as good as could have been :( the photographerwas good tho.

Yay glad the vouchers came Som, shame T was tired but hopefully they managed to get some good shots and at least if not you can always just get the freebie :money: then go back after 6 months and try again :) Have you got any idea how much they charge if you just want say 3 different photos?

Just off to catch up now...

Congratulations EA! You all look lovely. Hope you have a good evening.

The past few days have been a bit on/off with feeding and sleeping. We've started doing a bed/bathtime routine to try and relax Holly in the hope that she'll go to sleep in her moses basket. The first night it worked well- she stayed in the basket until about 2am before coming in our bed but then last night she didn't settle from 7pm onwards so DH ended up on the floor and she was in bed with me all night where she slept like an angel only waking me up for feeds twice.

This morning we had a first feed at 7am and then she was howling constantly until midday. She was making her hungry faces and fists, so I was feeding on and off for almost 5 hours. It was only when I gave her a bottle of expressed milk at midday that she seemed satisfied, so I'm wondering if she's actually feeding properly. She's defo latched on properly but she seems to be quite lazy with her sucking compared with when she's taking it from the bottle. So I've decided to not only have some expressed on standby but also some formula feeds ready to go in case she doesn't seem satisfied and I've run out of expressed (only managing to get about 2oz max in a sitting). Does this sound alright?

On a cheerier note, Holly has now met all her grandparents. My Dad and Stepmum drove up from Bristol for a few hours today and after Holly had finished her howling we went out for lunch and I had a delish stilton ploughmans. I've been craving stilton since I got pregnant so was a real treat!

Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

Muso - do you have a spare room you can set up as a 'haven' for someone to get some sleep while Holly's in your bed with the other?

I used to go in the spare room with Jack and let OH get some sleep when he was working, in fact I still go in there in the middle of the night out of habit.

    I love Holly's middle name BTW :)

OH's just put some duck spring rolls in for starters, Jack's in bed, I'm on the smirnoff ice and Chinese is on the way! I don't expect to move after as we have ordered Prawn AND Beef Schezaun for OH, Chicken in Chilli & Garlic for me ane chicken fried rice to share! Not bad for a tenner :money:

Where is everyone tonight? Not at home watching BGT?
Who is watching?, who do we want to win?

Mmm, your dinner sounds nice Glam. I can be over in under an hour. :D

I'm starving and OH isn't back yet. :(

I'm having a glass of wine before my 8pm time rule too.

J has his devil head on again today, so Asda was quite stressful, and I forgot to get the Contac that I went for. I have some of the nose spray Sami mentioned in the cupboard, but spraying up my nose makes me feel _pale_

And i'm going to strangle the kid next door. I'm sure she waits til she sees me close the bedroom cutains to show V's in bed before she starts knocking loudly for L to play out! And she's been knocking every night and morning for weeks, and L never wants to play out with her. TAKE THE BL00DY HINT CHILD!

Congratulations EA. Can't believe you were posting on MSE in the middle of your wedding day though :rotfl:

The news here is that Edward can officially crawl. Not far and not fast at the moment but left to his own devices he can make progress in all directions. So today we were off out buying stair gates, locks for the cupboards and a fridge lock. Awww I can't believe my little man is growing up so fast!
