my elation with little man going down at 7pm was pooped on as we had a scream fest which only mammoth boob fest would calm at 11pm but he did sleep through until about half 6, after another mammoth boob fest he's busy blowing raspberries so all is well. aless hope you start getting some more sleep very soon (other than naps!)
tried out the zapp in kiddicare the other week - had I not vowed only to buy 1 pushchair, I'd have been tempted for holidays but as the one we've got works perfectly well and as I am on my last full month of smp and we have the first builders final bill in and inheritance tax to pay there is no way I can justify a 2nd pushchair!0 -
3 id take her .. her chance to say goodbye ...
aless hope you manage to catch up on some sleep ...
work for me today but going to go gym before hand, really loving the gym at the mo
.. hope you're all well x

Thanks Searchie Yes, I think I will. Just hope it's not too upsetting for her, you know the bit when the curtain closes.
There's a flap thing right behind where the handle says Stokke (closer to the chair), lift that and pull forwards. The flap on the other side and kind of underneath changes the position of the handle.
The zips on the hood are for the raincover.
The bigger bag is the one with the two straps? I think that's the changing bag, which I think you carry as a backpack.
Very speedy this morning, I've been wrestling cereal into the Poopmeisterin General and now must dress her so we can go off to Gymboree.
Ah-ha - Thank you.
Luckily my car boot is huge so I could fit it in yesterday with a fully extended pole!
I felt quite mean to the seller. She was really sad to see it go, but needed a new pushchair she could fit a buggy board too as her toddler didn't like walking much.
I didn't have the heart to tell her that Stokke have brought out a buggy board.

I've got ex mil's funeral to attend this afternoon. L wants to come as it's her Nan, but i'm not sure about children at funerals. I'll only go to the service and crem., i'll come home before the wake/fights start.searching_me wrote: »3 id take her .. her chance to say goodbye ...
I agree with SM, 3. We were brought up going to funerals from about L's age, even going to the chapel of rest before to see the person. Like SM says just take her out if she gets upset. My mum always made sure we had some flowers to take as well other than the main wreaths and we made a card to say goodbye as well that we put with the flowers.
Have a nice holiday Lady.Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

What, as you skipped down the path with your new pram you felt guilty?? Aye right, not even a backwards glance! :rotfl:ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Morning all. Happy holidays! Have fun and Happy Birthday too!0 -
3 - good job you've got a big car!
I would take L like the others have said.
Aless - sorry you had a rocky night. Jack slept til 2am again had a bottle and went back to sleep but he insisted on his dummy at 7.30pm and it didn't make a difference so I now wonder if it's because we've gone back to baths rather than showers at night. *shrugs*
Lady - have a lovely holiday.
Right today I need to get out the office! It's too warm to stay indoors, just need an excuse to get out now :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I think if a child is old enough to understand what it is about and wants to go then it is better to let them. I have never been to a funeral because I was never allowed. This is because my Grandma was very against children going to funerals because when she was a child in South Africa, whenever one of her Aunts died everyone used to go round and view the body at the house. South Africa is pretty hot so it was a rather unpleasant experience.I've got ex mil's funeral to attend this afternoon. L wants to come as it's her Nan, but i'm not sure about children at funerals. Buggy/Pram Buying Addicts: I am joining you! No seriously just kidding! I'm looking for a new chassis for my pram I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need a Classic chassis for the Silver Cross Sleepover. The linear one is starting to do ma nut in. If anyone sees one on their internet shopping travels please let me know. I want the newish style one (black wheels) rather than the really old one (white wheels)
Unless anyone on here has one to get sell or wants a swap of the Classic for the Linear?
I like the bold0
