    evening all,

PP1 - so pleased to hear that you are okay. such a terrible thing. we had a similar (for want of a better word) situation back home in Tasmania, it was horrific.

drinking - i'm not a big drinker at all. i have a had a few nights of drinking loads, but it doesn't do anything too much to me so i dont really bother. i think the only time i really wanted to have a drink what when i was pregnant, and that was only because i knew i shouldn't. don't do beer/wine ... can't be doing with the smell initially (me...strange....never)

after my moaning about sleep last night, we had quite a good night (by our standards), but i am not holding out any hope for a repeat performance. while looking for answers last night, i came across this .... http://www.sleepnannies.co.uk ... am i mad for considering booking the consultation ... or maybe buy the book

I've heard good things about a similar service. A friend of a friend used them and it made a real difference to them.

  • That's fine GISI - I am a bit funny with TV, I never really watch it, just out of 1 eye IYSWIM. Not many programmes hold my attention for long.

    Hey everyone

I havent been here a few days, can someone catch me up please?

Well E was at his special care follow up, he's now 14lbs 5oz and they measured his length which was nice cos he's never had that done, he's on the 98th centile line for length

Dr was more than happy with him, says hes thriving and we dont need to go back unless we have any concerns.

The Dr was fab, so good with him, he had E laughing at him and everything lol

Oh and OMG just seen a trailer for eclipse!! It looks mint, I am going to book tickets tomorrow!

oh, are you able to say who they used??? i am just thinking of the telephone consultation, but i'm not sure. worried they will just tell me things i already know.

interesting what they say about the connection between food and sleep, not in the sense of a full tummy means sleep, but how foods can affect sleep. my LO prefers a liquid diet over anything else, and is a bit hit and miss but i do wonder about intolerances, as i have them (not fully explored as i moved over here when i was starting to find out about them) and wonder if it may have something to do with her sleep (or you can read as i might be grasping at straws :D)

GISI, trip down there is no longer on, so don't worry about me. I was watching the Apprentice and thought the right person went, though they really need to break up that team as they're ALL a bit weak. I think Arjun's the quiet dark horse to do well :).
