Random question- it says on the National Blood Service website that you can give blood 9 months after having a baby. Does anyone know whether you have to wait any longer if you've had a c-section? I didn't have a transfusion and I've given lots of times in the past. I know I can ring them to find out but wondered if anyone on here knew, as you are all such a fount of knowledge :rotfl:.

Anyone watching the Apprentice? I wanted the Scottish girl to go!

    Thanks, MFD!

    evening all,

PP1 - so pleased to hear that you are okay. such a terrible thing. we had a similar (for want of a better word) situation back home in Tasmania, it was horrific.

drinking - i'm not a big drinker at all. i have a had a few nights of drinking loads, but it doesn't do anything too much to me so i dont really bother. i think the only time i really wanted to have a drink what when i was pregnant, and that was only because i knew i shouldn't. don't do beer/wine ... can't be doing with the smell initially (me...strange....never)

after my moaning about sleep last night, we had quite a good night (by our standards), but i am not holding out any hope for a repeat performance. while looking for answers last night, i came across this .... http://www.sleepnannies.co.uk ... am i mad for considering booking the consultation ... or maybe buy the book
