Morning ladies, a good night here, am only up early as OH is still in bed fast asleep and I don't dare bring T into bed as he is such a deep sleeper! So looks like its his week off and I'm gonna end up sleep deprived lol. Have said as he is off this week am gonna tackle expressing at some point and see if we cant get enough for him to try feeding T. I went out on my own without her yesterday for the first time, was only to tesco which is a 3 min drive away but was out about 45 min while OH stayed with her. Felt weird but was good to get past that hurdle, tho OH got off lightly as she just slept the whole time I was gone.
Boo - yeay for wee james improvingIf I come across any lansinoh in my stash of freebies I'll let you know too.
beenie - your so funny with your buggy addiction, its like an itch you just cant help scratching lol, hope you find a good bargain x
aless - poor you ((hugs)) hope you have a good (or better at least) night tonight.
Susan - thanks had never thought to use shopbot, am looking at some on ebay atm 3 pairs for £6.92 but there not any specific make, will look at baby legs
Didnt get the Baby Einstein DVDstho I was being tight with my bid lol. Hope OH gets up soon, fancy going for a mooch around the car boot and its not worth going later on as all the good stuff will be gone!

Damn, forgot it was a bank holiday. The doctors is closed
Ah well, i'll call tomorrow. Meeting my friend for lunch today, i fully intend to drag her around shops that OH refuses to go in so i can purchase wedding bits
I just put Lily in her crib laying her straight, now she's at an angle lol. What point do they become to big for a crib? I think its when they can roll over but OH thinks its when she's psyically(sp?) to tall to sleep in it.0 -
EA - I would say when she isn't comfortable in it any more (unless the paperwork with the crib has a weight limit, and you get there first, obviously!). With us it wasn't when she was too tall, more that she was banging her arms on the bars when sleeping like a starfish and waking herself up.

EA - does your crib rock? and if so does it have a locking mechanism? if thats the case you could probably keep her in there even if she can roll. Just use your own judgement, we always used to say to customers that on average a crib would last 6 months but its the old thing of every baby being different and Lily is advancing well so you may find she is ready to come out sooner. Tahlie is such a wriggler and Im always finding her sideways or upside down in her cot so a crib would be a nightmare for us.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Her feet get caught in the bars sometimes when she rolls onto her side. But she seems to like having her hands near the edge so she can hold ours (aww)
I got it from ebay so no instructions, i cant remember the brand either lol. And its a gliding crib, i've seen no lock so far.
Lily just got herself back to sleep by stroking her own hair! I usually stroke it to calm her down, it was very cute0 -
I always find Alfie in exactly the same position in his cot that I left him in!
We had a random waking in the night last night too, so defenitely something weird going on!
While I remember, is someone on here initials JF? We have one mutual friend from here, Dora, but as there's only 1 mutual friend I'm wondering if maybe she thinks I'm someone else?!0 -
Morning! Happy bank holiday!
Good night here, but massive hugs to those who had a rubbish one.
I'm watching a 'Don't Tell the Bride'-athon here in preparation of my bridesmaid duty on Saturday. OH is at work so my plan is to pop to Aldi for bargainous Tommee Tippee then a wander into town to meet him from work. Then off to the park so OH can walk with Henry and I can go for a run. Perfect!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Morning all,
I've been up all night with a V & D bug (TMI sorry) and feel awful
OH is minding Isla and just bringing her to me when she needs a feed. I'm hoping it's a 24 hour thing as I don't fancy another night like last night
Som - I got some lovely unbranded babylegs off ebay for 99p delivered recently. I went back on to order more though and ebay cancelled all my bids and told me not to deal with the seller again! I'm a bit peeved as they were lovely and so cheap, I wanted all the colours
Hope everyone has a nice bank holiday and lots of sleepy vibes for babies and mummies tonight.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0
