calcium-wise hammy, the highest non-dairy source of calcium is instant oat cereal (supermarket own brand of ready brek).

It is also the absolutest cheapest way of getting calcium into anyone's diet other than a pill, drops or eggshells :)

Bruno, my health insurance thingee from work (cash add-on plan) gave me £600 when Finn was born :D. Of course, it's a bit late for you as one obviously couldn't be pregnant when joining. Anyway, I've liked it as we've gotten dental & optical paid for as well. Is this remotely helpful? Prolly not!

I think you should stay with Virgin (am biased b/c it's what we have) but re-negotiate a lower tariff. If you threaten to quit, you can get almost anything! And it's worth it for superior cable internet.

That kid is here again. My DS is sick of him, i think they're just seeing too much of each other but i'm tied to looking after him every Weds now, even in the school hols :(

Help :( I don't have the balls to say the truth (i.e he does our head in).

Just need a break from it but it's only 3 hours a week so i shouldn't be moaning but it's peeing me off now.

:TWeezl, thank you for that - I will try D with some blended oats made up with water in the morning. I might mash up some banana to make it a bit more interesting for him

ETA - and I would just like to say how cute Charlotte was when she was kissing herself in the mirror!

I saw Jayden doing this. Very cute.
Very nice to meet all the mummies and cutie babies in real life.

Hammy, Enfamil do this milk, Lactose free and doesn't say that it is soya based. Alex is on enfamil reflux milk. Have a look and see if it might be right for D and if ask your doctor about it as it can only be got on prescription.

Off to to pick Joe up from afterschool club

Thanks workinmummy, I am waiting for my GP to call me back either today or tomorrow ( I am guessing it will be tomorrow now looking at the time) so I will ask about Enfamil then. They did mention enfamil this morning but said that they wanted to check to ensure as much as possible it would not cause any further allergies as it really has made D unwell today.

I am glad to hear Alex is slowly improving for you. It breaks my heart to see D suffering and I am sure you must be the same with Alex

I paid for the Apple, minutes after it ended.

He's just emailed me saying he's waiting for payment to clear before he sends it by Parcelforce 48. The paypal status is "unregistered"

Beenie, it seems there are more morons than normal - I've had two "not as described" in three days, one French Connection dress with a rip along the seam and one vintage bag with an inch of missing beading directly above the one tiny mark that was mentioned :(
