My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »A question for those of you with babies with hair:
If you bathe babba at bedtime how do you dry their hair? At the moment I just rub Benjamin's with a towel but as his hair is getting thicker it is still a bit damp after his bottle and then he gets bed-hair LOLMFD - V's is getting thicker, especially the back mullet bit. She had a bath tonight, I rubbed it with a towel, and by the time she was in her sleepsuit and bag and had had her bottle it was dry!
She has bed hair whether she's gone to bed with it freshly washed or not.
Caitlyn's hair dries quite quickly, but then it's only short... Too short to worry about brushing anyway
I never really gave Caitlyn cooled boiled water... Once she was eating solids she got tap water... She does like to drink it too, but I tried her with moo milk in a cup the other day, she tipped her head back and gargled until white froth came out of her mouth and that was it...
She also has a rubber spout cup that she takes to bed instead of a dummy, she likes to chew on the spout...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks for the link GISI
I have been thinking the same about whether I will be able to express enough milk for when I am at work. My plan was that once he started eating more and taking less milk, I would express then, which I have done a few times when he has clearly missed a milk feed, but 50% of the time he will have milk after his food, its very on / off, and he doesnt always want the milk straight away so I dont wanna get expressing then him look for his milk!! I think I will try and express more regularly this week when he doesnt have milk after a feed and see if I can build up a bit for the freezer. I dont know about you but I am a little bit sad when he doesnt want my milk, I can see how it must be hard to stop BF, even though it will be nice not to have to wear vests all the time, lol!!
Im off to bed now, chat tomorrow hopefully

Awww Jakesmummy Thats so cute! I can't wait til V has enough hair for a clip or bobble, if only to stop people telling me how cute 'he' is! :rotfl:
L still has dreadful bed hair - but she has it in plaits at night to save dramatics in the morning.
If she goes to bed with it loose, it's a huge tatty frizz in the morning.
Remember the tv advert years ago where a gorilla broke into the bedroom at night and messed up the persons hair?, I think that's what happens in L's room.:beer:0 -
Hello lovelies
We had a lovely evening in the biergarten after Molly finally woke up (being a model must have been sooooo tiring for her) and then nommy Ethiopian food for dinner. It was a leaving party for a friend, and mostly it was fabulous, but there was a woman there who's so clueless it was unbelievable.
First she asked if she could hold the baby, while also holding a cigarette. She was told no, whereupon she asked our names and how we knew the guy whose party it was. Then she asked why we call Husband "his name". I pointed out that it's because it's his name, and she said that nobody's called that and we were making it up. Then she kept on just needling us constantly, saying Molly's not that smart or cute or funny whenever anyone complimented her and how we weren't that great just because we managed to produce her. So we made sure to be at the far end of the table from her and everyone emerged unscathed.
Next time though I'm going to clock her with a giant beer stein.

Aw jm she is gorgeous!
Benjamin has my hair, it is really fine but there is getting to be tons of it! I might have to look at separating his bath and bed a bit to allow it to dry.

Evening ladies (and Bruno!)..
We've had a lovely day here, just chillingI had a nice soak in the bath mid-afternoon, not done that (the mid-aft bit) since two days after having Rhys and I got stuck cos I couldn't get back up again!
I put two Tomy baby carriers and a Lindam door bouncer for sale on the Fairy Exchange earlier if anyone's thinking about getting one
Been to my parents' where I've cleared out all my old school books from their loft. Found stuff over twenty years old.. I wrote a good story when I was 7! Have got a few box fulls of stuff here now to sort through, things we had in the hospital and they brought home for us. Shouldn't take long, thankfully
Have heard from MM. She said her hotel is fab but huge and she's at the very end of a very very long corridor! She'll burn off some cals just walking that, never mind the pool and gym there but for now she's in a beer garden
Hope everyone had a nice dayxx
