*Goes off to check whether Henry has a neck.*

eta- no, he is one of those other neckless babies you speak of.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

2 hours 40 mins and still counting....might just go and check on him...

Edit - sleeping like a baby, snoring like an old hag!!!

  • SS when I first dropped Benjamins cot he could just peek over the top when he was stood up...now the top is level with his boobs when he stands up. He used to sleep width-ways with no problem but these days he has to tuck his feet up (or prop them up on the bars) if he wants to go width ways.

I think hubby is making plans to see BIL...not sure I can be bothered :o

    Poor Charlotte :(

Come on GISI tell us about your bargains!

:rotfl: Sami, I wish I'd seen that sooner, although I'd have bought Gordon Brown just for the entertainment value of seeing what Husband would do if I introduced GB to the bedroom :rotfl:

Always happy to share tales of bargains. I spent £10 and got the following-

    Blue Swivel Bath Seat
    WTP Lullaby Light Show
    Dust Buster (£2 mega bargain)
    Sleeping Bag
These cute ball things that Elle (I think) linked to last week http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FISHER-PRICE-ROLL-A-ROUNDS-BABY-MOTION-TOY-NEW!_W0QQitemZ380214217805QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=07cf03f711d0a0e202518481ffd05ed8

Lots of Baby Boy Clothes (about ten items, mostly Next)
Yeah we do, he doesnt take to the swing well, but if we put him in his car seat and rock him back and forth he does stop crying, you then have to rock him quite a while and he falls asleep lol

How do you know who the top ten posters are?

MFD I totally agree with what you said about OH's I know he is tired after work, but its flipping tiring looking after E all day I just need like half an hour of just me, he still doesnt get it lol

    Happy Birthday Teenage J

Morning all, well I slept from 10.30pm till 10am (E is at my mam's lol) OH is still in bed, I am going to do a quick tidy up of downstairs then I think we should go back and get E, sounds like mam had a tough niht with him last night :(

Hope E was ok for your mum. Did you get a sling in the end? I really recommend one- it was a godsend when H was little.

You ladies may all laugh at the politician ring toys, it wouldn't be you wearing them :embarasse unappealing!

Booking-in appointment entirely uneventful, nice midwife, OH's bp down a bit which is good, all harmless. Bloods and scan in 2 weeks. We celebrated with lunch at a nice local cafe, now the other two sleep and I must try to get some work done!

GISI I think the sudden sprouting of a neck must be some sort of growth milestone because Molly certainly didn't have one last month.
Edit: excellent bargains there, well done!

MFD, she's not quite as tall as the top of the crib at the moment, but the middle setting is high enough that now she can kneel she could easily turf herself head first outwards.

Has anyone ever noticed how weird the word kneel is?

(ooo we have that wiggly bug on Finn's pram!)

I'm coming to your boot sale next time, GISI as wasn't much of interest at ours - just mostly loadsa junk and very little baby stuff. Apparently it's usually better though, as the skies looked threatening to downpour all morning and scared a lot of sellers away.

What do i do?! She'd be so insulted if i don't use it. But i don't want to risk fitting it wrong and maybe it's one of those that was recalled?
I would take it to your local fitting service (as recommended by Sami) get them to check the straps and let you know if it safe... And use it until you can afford something better :)
Krystal, is it morning sickness? Sounds icky!
I wondered that myself tbh but got a bfn yesterday morning... Still no sign of AF yet... Hubby thinks it could be because they're 99p shop tests... (3 for 99p:money:) and was on about getting a clearblue yesterday... I'm happy to wait a couple more days... I got a dire rear anyway and you don't generally get that with ms do you?

Hmmm i want to take the dog out but the sky is grey and there are swarms of seagulls around.

I wouldn't mind but due to the lack of shopping basket i have nowhere to store the raincover for the blimmin pushchair.

Does it not fit in the little bag you bought? Or just stay hooked over the hood?

Just had a real moron moment... My friend is picking Aimee up to go to a birthday party and she text me yesterday while I was ill... I only replied today saying it was OK, sitting here thinking she was 25mins late and started really worrying she didn't get my text and wasn't coming... Tried ringing and no answer... Went and voiced my concerns to Dave... He asked when the party starts... 4:15... I'm an hour early... Durrr!
