Went to baby group this morning and just before leaving, my house alarm started beeping. It lets us know that the phone line is down apparently. So no phone, TV and internet. Got back around 12.30 and it was still beeping! It's been dementing me until it stopped around 2pm. Then it started 10 mins later again! It's every 10 seconds it beeps so you can imagine how irritating that is!!! Has stopped again now, but think I need to go out in case it starts up again.

Congrats to Newbie Maz on your wedding plans! :T

Well done to WM and Csh for being such lovely people.

Nice pics Glam and GISI. And well done on the weight loss GISI.

This afternoon I am meeting my friend when she finishes work and walking round a local park. It takes about 1 1/2 hours apparently. I am praying for rain so that I can cancel! I want to do the exercise, but:
    1) If it rains, I don't have a jacket with a hood
    2) I haven't used the raincover for the pram yet so would need to faff about with that
    3) I am a lazy cow

That's so weird, I've just got off the phone to my brother who's coming round for sunday lunch and he's been telling me his girlfriends 'rules' about food. No meat on the bone still, no two items to be touching incase she doesn't like it and its then contaminated something else, no 'weird' things like cooking with fruit/jam glazes on meat. And no olives! Their were more but I tuned out :rotfl:

I have some food rules like that, but I would never dream of telling anyone else how to cook - if someone else is good enough to cook for me then I swallow my preference for a sanitary 3cm gap between items on the same plate and nomnomnom away. How rude!

    Happy birthday!!

I'd open a dispute. The wording on pictures is really clear. Tell her either that you will return it at her expense because it was her (deliberate) mistake, accept a partial refund (£14 is the approx going rate for the basket), or open a dispute. Don't mention feedback in your email because it can be seen as blackmail.

Mrs B is only a little bit pregnant so far - 9 weeks

Once the heartbeat is established things are pretty much good to go, my doctor told me. I like the German system much better, you get an ultrasound at every visit and a visit once a month.

    Happy birthday Reece!

    Fab shoes Aless, love them!

:grouphug: Mel, it's awful to be so angry with a partner and feel ignored.

I just had my eyebrows threaded, and it was only €5 :money: AND they look awesome!

    Well done elle!

Must get onto today's list. Can you believe that Germans don't sell mailing bags? Jiffy bags only at over a euro each! Off to ebay...

    IMPORTANT EDIT:

    Yay for Natalie's A!!!

    Gorgeous pictures Glam!!!

Congratulations Maz!!! Our wedding rings have a twist in them too, they're matte and very heavy. I love them!

.. Elle, how long did your CRB take?

Since end of Feb to today, I think :o

Yay, Daddy Bear came home just in time to take Baby Bear to the hospital ;):p He's gone in my car with the pushchair in the boot which is currently in two bits, not the one bit that he's used to. Hope he puts it together right! :o

    Pump's gone too... :hello:

Txt invites for tomorrow are sent. Intentionally left it late as I want it to be a "casual, if you're passing" affair, not a big thing, but have been surprised by the amount of friends who've already replied with "oh good, was going to txt you to find out when to drop his present off" :o Wasn't expecting even a FB msg of some of them, let alone presents! :A

Food has arrived at Mum's too, everything present and correct, phew! :)

Right, now I need to get on with blitzing..

MFD, Poppy has been going to the theatre for quite some time and loves it (although I don't take her, my sister and Mum do!). She is entranced by it all but the shows are designed for children and relatively short (Milkshake, Noddy, Hi5).

Body Shop - I have lots from the latest glitches and I'm gutted that visitors are coming soon and I won't be able to look now!! Thanks for sharing :). Did you get the free £20 gift sets with £2 spend last week? :D

EDIT: couldn't wait and have ordered a few of those natural grass bags to put said free gift sets in .
