Get well soon Glam and Krystals Nephew xx
NewbieMaz – Good luck with the interview. Well done on the weight loss.
    Tia – Hugs
Scruffy – thanks I’ve bookmarked it.
SS – Sorry you didn’t get the job
    TSS – congratulations and (((hugs))
Beenie – I am very chuffed that you are going ahead with the charges. Hope the beat officer can help.

Hello – Just has a mammoth catch up.

Swimming was excellent. Katie finally cracked the bicycle, she sits astride a woggle float holding the bit in front of her and has to kick her legs to balance and move, and up until yesterday everytime it’s been done she has refused to hold onto it herself and let me let go of the float at the back, she didn’t hold onto me once and was happy when I let go. Her instructor was very happy as it was our last lesson with her yesterday.

Party was ok – it was freezing cold though (had a BBQ) I ended up sitting inside so that Katie could come in and warm up. Nearly came to blows with my BIL though as he refused to stop swearing in front of Katie and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong for shortening Katies name down from Caitlin name – I just kept reminding him little ears were in the room and that she was MY daughter and it was up to me what her name was. Then I was taking Katie up to the toilet before we left and there was my nephew with a replica gun, Katie stopped where she was (half way up the stairs), and buried her head causing me to very nearly loose my balance, nephews big brother was behind me who told him he was an idiot and to put it away and my SIL wonders why I won’t let Katie stay overnight with them.

Today has made up for it though as we went to the Motorbike Festival and had a great time, Katie had up playing swap the ice cream as she wanted to make sure she had chosen right with strawberry. I think what made Katies day though was the bus ride home.

    SS - what's a photo scavenger hunt?

You have a list of stuff that you can find around your city and have a set amount of time to take photos of them. Bonus points for having someone on your team in the picture, more bonus points for having a team member interacting with the person/thing and a huge bonus for an adult-type shot.

    We came second.
Nope... I don't get them very often... 2 or 3 a year and they're completely random... Bizarrely... I got a migraine in the early weeks of both my pregnancies... (But I've had 2 BFNs this week lol)

    False negative?

Glad you're better Glam, don't try to do too much xxx

    Lovely picture Boo :)

Oh, and in more surprising but pleasing news, I've just found my c-section consent form with the name of the doctor (who made the timely decision and ultimately saved our lives :o) on it :D I'd been wondering who he was.. I've Googled him too, found a pic, definitely the right guy :)

Do excuse me if I'm a wreck for the next three weeks.. I'll try to do it quietly, I promise :o

Elle - Of course the next few weeks are going to be hard, so apologies not necessary.

Have you thought about sending a thank you letter to the doctor?

SM - I think it was worse as it was DHs family and I was there on my own as DH was at work. It's his wife that wants Katie to stay over with them, I think not as SIL thinks nothing of combining alcohol and morphine!

Left a card when we left the hospital. Have thought about a letter many times since but, in all honesty, how do you say it? OH is working on a CD of pics and video clips of "what Rhys can do" to send to a few of the docs involved so they can see his progress :o We shall be delivering cake to the nurses (they admit sweet stuff is more talking their language ;)) and will call in next week sometime (am friends with some of the nurses on FB so they can tell me a good time depending on what's happening up there these days... last I heard is that they were going through a very very quiet spell - thankfully for the babies, obviously ;)).

Really wish my damn CRB check would come so I could get volunteering on the unit! :o

Elle - I think simple is best

"Thank you for saving the lives of my son and I and here's a CD of pictures of his progress."

Elle, similar to you, I have a card I bought for Dr.R, the head of the termination clinic (who said we didn't have to do that). But I have no idea what to put on it.
