    Hope your appointment's not too long Becs.

    Thanks :)

    Got to admit I've been feeling a bit down this afternoon. Was hoping they would say "oh yes it's this and here's a cure" this morning, rather than they don't know and I need more tests. Been putting up with the pain and symptoms since October and it's driving me crackers.

    Was thinking that if it is an allergy to something in my house, it should get better when we go on holiday on the 24th. It'll be interesting to see if it clears up while I'm away. If not, it's all-inclusive so there's plenty of vodka on tap to numb the pain :rotfl:

    (Yes, the same Nan that never eats and is vegetarian - she piles her plate high and likes the turkey & gammon!) :rotfl:

    Sounds like Craig's grandad. He's diabetic and on his way to the table on Monday, he was telling my Mam how he is diabetic and he's got to watch his sugar and all that. Then he came back with a slice of chocolate cake and a slice of sponge cake. It's diet controlled diabetes so not as severe as the one where you inject insulin, but we're not sure he should be having that much cake!

    Josh made a chocolate and strawberry gateaux at school today. I could only get a large punnet of strawberries and assumed he would just take a few in for his cake, but then I noticed the whole punnet had gone out of the fridge. He was showing off the cake when he came in and it had about 5-6 chopped strawberries on the top, so I asked where the rest of the punnet was. He said he thought they were spare so he ate them on the bus on the way home, then quickly followed up with it was one of his five a day :rotfl:Gateaux was very nice though :D
    Here I go again on my own....

    Me too!

    I have a Nan like that... You put food in front of her and she always says "Oh, that's far too much, I'll never manage it..." She's practically licking her plate before we've even picked our cutlery up...

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    My Nan says that she had a botched operation over 10 years ago which has left her unable to eat a thing since! She's looking rather well for someone who can't eat.

    Funny she seems to forget about it when she's inhaling a 'vegetarian' turkey dinner!

    She's vegetarian except for Turkey, Chicken, Gammon, Ham and sausages! Because they're not like proper meat are they! :rotfl:

    Very disappointed for my wee buddy who was the labour candidate in Yoevil, he lost to the lib dems. He used to explain politics to me and tell me why I shouldn't buy shoes :(

    I have this image now of a tiny thimble-sized fairy shoemaker, is that at all accurate? :p

    On your PO receipt there will be a tracking number (which you sue to check and see if it's been signed for). Open a paypal dispute and you will get it back a lot quicker.

    No, no, no, no. He is the token male hussy (long story, very boring but I got to be Queen) and wears a pink tutu and a tiara. He does have a wand at random moments, usually when someone needs chocolate!

    I better not name him, I could be jeopardising his political career. :rotfl:

    All these children and adults free to good homes, is it ok if I eat them? I'm predicting imminent Zombie Attack and as human flash has the highest nutritional value is survival situations... I'm willing to take them all :D
