I'm hungry all the time too MFD and I was blaming it on the BFing when I think it is actually just me being a greedy so and so. I just try to snack on slightly healthier things now- I was having at least one cake/donut type thing a day before I started SW in addition to my mega meals and other snacks.

  • I was saying to my friends the other day that it's fine when I'm with Henry as people assume that my tum is from having recently had a baby. Trouble is that when I'm not with him I think people look at me like I'm pregnant!

I think the problem is that we have no stomach muscles to speak of so weight just gathers and you get bigger and bigger :(

Sit-ups might be in order too.

...or a second baby so we have an excuse all over again :rotfl::rotfl:

Edit - SJ I get it ALL the time. All my weight is on my tum so I must do a convincing impression of a pregnant lady!!

Elle - I only really learnt how to do an omelette in the last couple of years, and if it goes wrong I just turn it into scrambled egg :)

    Yum Bakewell Tart.

Katie had me laughing at tea time, I asked her what she wanted to be when she was a big girl - her answer "Sing Laaaaaa!"

Katie had her first dancing lesson last week, the feedback was that she needs to learn to stand still so we've been working on that. Katie started dancing when the class started practising the song they're doing in the next show.

MFD - my stomach muscles are completely shot after being pg and a c-section, Pilates did help me regain a bit of control but they will never be the same again.

Hmmm *muses over whether a second pregnancy and birth are preferable to sit-ups*..........:p.

SM- I know, but as well as being a greedy moo I am also a lazy one :rotfl:

Success - I have a sleeping child in her bed, some of the washing up dome (as much as I could fit on the drainer, seeing as there is no dryer-upper around, and I'm starving) and food on my fork :)

MFD we have the same argument here - not just with my Mummy friends, but anything which isn't going to the pub with his friends. I don't mind as much if he says "I don't want to go", it is the last minute excuses that bother me. silly boys! And that seems a bit rude of BB to me. I'm sure she meant well but I would never coment on someones bump unless I knew 100% there was a baby in there!

Good luck for tomorrow Jillie. You will be surprised how much you remember :)

LOL - I sit in a car for 90+ mins a day, at a desk for 8.5 hours a day and on my a$$ talking to you lot for 2 hours in the evening...Add in a couple or 3 hours with my boy, cooking, cleaning and general 'doing stuff' and there ain't a whole lotta time to be hauling my a$$ off the sofa and doing some exercise:rotfl::rotfl:

    ...and I am a lazy moo :p

Exercise is evil MFD. You don't wanna be doing it

I bet you look lovely as you are. Some people are just insensitive, I got mega fat AFTER having Keira, lost most of it, but your body shape totally changes so where as before the weight would of been evenly distrubeted, everything seems to like to stick to my belly button area, muffin top central :o
