Well had a reasonable nights sleep and may have gotten a lil longer if we hadn't had a leaky nappy! Anyhoo baby girl is content atm so gonna attempt to go make/drink a coffee. OH is in bed still as usual but he has a cold (may turn into full blown man flu!) wonder what time he'll rise? Need to go to the walk in centre today, get my finger looked at as it's been 5 weeks now and it's just getting worse.
Beenie - hope you got to sleep, hate spiders in the bedroom.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Folic acid is a B vitamin and like vitamin C, the B vitamins are water soluble so it doesn't build up in your body. The extra folic acid wouldn't do you any harm at the levels in pregnancy tablets but if straight iron tablets are cheaper then personally (unless I had particular reasons to be concerned about folic acid) I would use iron tablets until actually TTC otherwise I would just use the pregnancy ones straight away. Not advising you - just saying what I would do.Evansangel wrote: »Weezle, following our discussion about iron tablets the other day. I just remembered i have loads of the iron/folic acid tablet 'pregaday' that i was meant to take in pregnancy.
Will these do or shall i get just iron alone?

Also you should be able to get a pre-pregnancy check up before TTC so if you are concerned about your iron levels, tell them and ask to have a FBC plus ferritin.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Morning all..
Hope you got some sleep, Beenie! Creepy crawlies freak me out too
Rhys and I went to bed at the same time and fell asleep with the intention of OH moving Rhys to his cot when he came to bed... only he didn't come to bed until 7am cos he fell asleep in the computer room, yet again! *rolleyes* They're still in bed now but Rhys is awake and probably bashing OH around the head as he attempts to sleep
Plan for today is a trip to retail park type shops and B&Q for blackout blind for Rhys' room and to finally pick up the long list of DIY things we need (been writing this list for what seems like forever, waiting for payday!)
Will see what OH wants to do this afternoon but I have various jobs around the house he could be getting on with if he wants to stay in
Hope everyone has a nice day.. and grabs a few naps where needed xx0 -

Night kindof, hope you have a settled night hun xx
Thanks
I think we did YAY lol, yes it took OH 40 mins to settle E after his bottle at 9pm, but he didnt wake till 1.15am for another feed and went straight back to sleep and did the same again at 4.30am, he then woke up for the day at 7.30am (although he has fallen asleep again now in his pram lol)
Glam - Elliot does that, it drives me mad (well he doesnt anymore cos he wears sleeping bags) but when he used blankets he liked it tucked under his arms, and I would look over at him 5 mins later and he would have pulled it over his head!!
MFD - I read they can have duvet and pillow from 12 months?
Sweets - Hey and welcome
Grr OH annoyed me this morning, I know he did the feed at 9pm but when E woke for a feed just after 1am OH was still up playing on his computer (I went to bed at 11pm) so I said can you do his feed seeing as you are awake, which he did, then E woke up at 4.30am for another feed so I did that one, so then E woke again at 7.30am so I asked OH to do it (he is off work today after all) so he whinged like hell but did it, then he came back to bed rather quick I thought, then he spent the next 40 mins of so going back and forth to E's room to keep putting his dummy back in, while I get no sleep at all (I may as well have done the feed) when he got back into bed for the last time he was like "move over" so I calmy said as I lifted the quilt "I am on my side thank you very much" so then he said "give me some quilt" to which I replied "you already have all the quilt" so then he said "stop whinging as soon as you wake up" to which I replied "Stuart, !!!! off" so eventually at 8.15 or something I'd had enough and got up with E and took him for a walk in the pramDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Morning all. Bit of an icky night last night, but nothing too horrible. Got lots of cooking/baking to accomplish today so hoping DH will lend a hand instead of being stuck to PS2 all day
. (I'm being mean...he's generally quite good)
Krystal, so sorry I forgot to say on Friday thank you for the fairy post!! EA, massive apologies the fairies here have been really lazy about getting your stuff posted, but they swear on their hearts that it will go out tomorrow.
Think I might also do a big listing on eBay today as well...have managed to get a collection of stuff again. Still need money to pay for a new swimsuit, grrr.
Apparently Finn was properly rolling all around again this morning. DH reckons if he just put him in the middle of a big floor he would roll from end to the other quite happily (his mat is too small to do this). Methinks we will experiment with this later, lol. Morning all,
Well it's DH's birthday today but despite this, I put him on night duty as I was really needing an unbroken sleep. I still count myself lucky compared to some of you, but Holly has been waking up a lot during the night recently so I have been taking her into the spare room. She doesn't cry and tends to go back to sleep so it's not too bad. Hubby slept in the spare room last night, and apparently, no sign of H! She slept without a whimper until 7.30 this morning. Pleased, but grrr, just my luck!
Going to a park today I think since it's a nice day. Then got some shopping to do, and then off for sushi for dinner yum yum. I bought DH a flying lesson for his birthday as I was a bit stuck for ideas, but he seems delighted with it.
Hope you all have a lovely day (sorry you are working SM!). Catch up later. x0 -
Morning all.
I am probably wrong about the duvet...I. suppose I could look it up but regardless there is no way that I would sleep if Benjamin had one and he definitely won't be having a pillow for a long time yet.
I am the first person to say you should trust your instincts with your child so I don't know why I raised what 'they' say LOL.
We have a 50th birthday bash this afternoon. The hubby of one of my mummy friends (the daddy who came to booby club). Friend is pregnant again and he is a SAHD so I could do with buying him an extra pair of hands LOL. He is really nervous about being at home with a 5 month old and a 2 1/2 year old come next February when friend goes back to work!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Becles, your ex sounds dead mature... no idea why he's you ex  Your boys however, sound lovely.
Amber has a little baby quilt, she won't sleep without it (no idea why not she didn't have it in her crib) and she hates sleeping bags. Usually she ends up with the quilt and blanket kicked off anyway lying flat on her belly, the other way round. She can wriggle enough to not get into trouble so I'm not worried. It's lighter than a blanket too.
Lovely day here so tidy up time, lunch then a walk I think.0 -

I have the pregaday ones here already. I was taking them when i was pregnant with L but they made me have terrible cramps so i stopped them.
I had to take them before i got pregnant with her aswell and i was fine then, so i just assume regnancy + pregaday tablets dont mix well for me
I have my post natal check up on Thursday, i think i have to have a rubella injection as my notes said i wasn't immune. So i'll tell my GP we're ttc and go from there
I wasn't concerened about my iron levels, Weezl said to try and build them up again cause of the samm gap between L and #2. I have what she said saved ona word document somewhere on this laptop
L's cardle cap has gotton worse! I tried Dentanox and for a day it looked cleared! But last night i noticed her head was worse than before.
I rubbed some oil in and rewashed her hair this morning with dentanox. This time i used her baby brush to massage it in, which she liked
She currently has little curls as her hair goes curly after i wash it, so cute
