We arent having TNO, OH is adamnt, he is stll traumatised about the birth, and he thought he was going to lose one of us, or both :(

Oh no he's pumping and I can hear him whinging, I was hoping being on his side is letting him get his pumps out without hurting him and waking him up

Ive called OH and said he has to get home asap cos I need help

And he's crying now after a massive fart

    Hi kindof :)

I think it's really normal and loving for DH to be feeling this way right now. If I watched someone I loved going through hell, I'd absolutely think 'never again' ie they must never again be in that place. And I think we all wish that for you.

Maybe though, when they said, next time you can have an elective section, if DH reads a few of the calm, peaceful stories about electives on the birth stories thread, maybe he'll feel ok about choosing that for the two of you?

Also, if any consolation at this point after Fergie my DH was very 'never again' and by 7 weeks further on I was pregnant again, so I think it can really change, for men just as much as women :)

On the farty thing, what winding position do you use for E?

    xxx

    :hello:Jonathan 'Fergie' Fergus William, born 05/03/09, 7lb 4.4oz:hello:

    I know :)

They have said we can have a C/S next time, I know I wouldnt want to see anyone I loved going through that

But right now as well we are having a mare with E's pumps and getting him to sleep at night times etc so thats not helping the case lol (not E's fault I know)

I sit him upright while feeding, then lean him forward to burp him. he suaully gets 3 massive burps out, then when he has finished his bottle he goes on the shoulder

He was just happy in his swing and then he started crying and then he pumped poor guy

Can't say I've noticed it getting worse during AF, I'll try and remember to check lol...

Need to book a smear for next week, been trying to get one since January but every time I book an appointment, Aimee ends up off school... Don't really want to take her with me for something like that!

Caitlyn's figured out how to rock on the blue rocking horse, it's so cute and she's so pleased with herself for it!! Should be fun watching her with the bouncy zebra thing on her birthday!

Oh, and we got her one of these in pink yesterday in Smyths, bargainous price... I was going to get Aimee a new sandpit after freecycling her shell one but never got round to it... I'm thinking we'll just use it for water play until she's big enough to not eat the sand lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • One babba safe on bed. I got out of the bath to find hubby asleep on the bed with Benjamin awake next to him *rolleyes* which hasn't done much to brighten my mood. I hate this p1ssed off feeling...especially because I know I wouldn't be as p1ssed off if it weren't that time of the month. Off to do something productive. xx

Oh, and one more thing... I booked tickets the other day to go and see this in October...

Shocking prices... But we're sneaking off while Aimee's at school and going to the early morning... I recon Caitlyn will love it :D

MFD if you're looking for something to do you can do my ebay listings or entertain my little one - Husband is asleep in bed and Molly's up from her nap and singing happily on the floor while I try and make sense of Turbo Lister.

I think 8 listings is a great start.

Edit: if he's not up when I'm up to ten listings I'm going to poke him with a stick.

Aw poor Alex - I think J's a nit sicky but nothing like you describe. :(

Is he still on the Gaviscon? Like MFD said, maybe he needs to see the doc again. NMS had problems with Liam's reflux - IIRC they had to try a few different meds and used the SMA staydown milk.
Yes - poor Alex :( we used Gaviscon for quite a while and it seemed to help a bit but ultimately was nowhere near enough to control E's reflux. Keep going back to the doc and pestering.

Bruno:D, I see you lurking, Hello! How is DW doing?
    [/FONT]

Helloo :) had wet bathed toddler in lap, not great for typing. DW is middling - still suffering much more from morning/all-day sicky feelings than last time, and her cold of last week has migrated to her chest and causing some minor breathing difficulty (she is borderline asthmatic but only to the extent of using an inhaler once or twice a year). Better today than the last couple though - probably the rain. She's ok :)

How's Weezl? How's baby juggling, is it very intense?

Hmmmm does it seem any good, Krystal? We're wanting one, found a well-reviewed much more expensive one but happy to save money if yours is a goer!

We've only looked at the one in the shop (ours is in the box for another 4 weeks...) but it seemed decent enough (or we wouldn't have bought it lol) We'd looked at the one in ELC about an hour before hand and there wasn't really a difference in quality, just the price which is why we acted on the impulse to buy it there and then...

Hey gang well sorry haven't been around today mum and step dad have been visiting :D was fab to see them and they had lots of cuddles with Tahlie. We've been invited to my uncles suprise 60th in ripon and our instant reaction was we don't have the money for petrol :( but mum and step dad said they would pay and if we can get someone to look after the dog they'll pay for hotel for night too.
