  • Hiya - I have been a bit mean to hubby and refused to go with him to drop DSS off :o We are meeting MIL for lunch after her golf lesson and it is on the way back from DSSs house. Hubby will have to drive back to collect us and then double back on himself. At least he was understanding.

Really need to go through Benjamins toys and put some of the baby ones away - my living room is being taken over by toys (all donated by others - it is not like I buy him anything!!) and it is driving me mad. Should really do it now whilst Benjamin is distracted with Waybuloo/ITNG...

Oh i forgot to say last night, CAFC thanks for the offer of your drier :D

But i'd rang my friend before you posted that and she's one of these strange people who actually enjoys laundry, so i took my wet washing there and will be picking it up today. Maybe i should do that more often LOL.

    Thats ok hun....
Your post spurred me on to organise the "last" round of baby's clothes to be washed ready for his arrival anyway :D

I say last because knowing my mum she'll come up with some more clothes she's managed to get from somewhere :T

Beenie - you're not really supposed to stop & start those tablets so I guess you need to make a decision whether you carry on with them and see if Amber stops feeding so much, stop taking them altogether or take them & stop BF. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh or upsets you, I really don't mean it to come out like that but can't think how else to word it. :o
(Take me ages to work out how to write that in a caring way amd still don't think I managed it!)

Not much happening here, I've mowed the lawn and been to ASDA, just need to clear the dining room later but just watching Bugs Life :D

Beenie, Krystal checked for you and I think she said they are the ADs of choice for BFing :) I don't know if they'd react together - you definitely need to check - but you could try taking something herbal (Fenugreek) which may help keep your supply up too :) (I think gymfiend put up a fairy offer for some earlier in the week)

Dh asleep on the sofa El asleep in the sleeping seat and me well I'm just bored and eating my Homemade toffee. I made it yesterday and it's nearly all finished already. But I had a constructive morning, washing done and hung out sitting and dining room hoovered and mopped with a little help from El. Kitchen cleaned and floor mopped. Hall and stairs hoovered and thats me done no more housework today. Except taking the washing on.

  • Opted for a 40 minute cuddle on the sofa with Benjamin instead of doing anything useful - I had to force him to sit with me at first but we had a lovely cuddle in the end. Well worth it :D

Feel shattered now though. Best go put my face on so I am ready to go when hubby gets back.

    Enjoy your afternoon everyone xx

SM it was just last week, the GP said i would benefit from the tabs but i sat in his office deliberating for ages. I just don't know how else to shift the black mist from my head, i thought they might help.

Glam no it doesn't sound harsh at all, i know i have to decide but i can't figure out what to do?!! Maybe she's having a growth spurt, maybe she's ready for weaning, maybe her wakenings are nothing to do with them at all and she's teething or something and feeding for comfort.

I don't want to stop bf'ing yet, i like it :( I don't mind supplementing with a bottle on a night but i'd rather not do it every night, cos then i'll mess up my supply even more and think it'll lead to stopping altogether.

elle, thanks i didn't think of doing that. Maybe i should stick it out a few more days and see if it passes. The leaflet did say something like
Possible side affects - (speak to GP if they continue for more than 2 weeks)
"can cause difficulty in producing milk"

So does sound like it shouldn't carry on doesn't it?
