Morning all, children slept 'til 6.30 (5.30 being the norm!) must be the cloudy weather.
We have the small lego out today and I am trying to not get stressed at the constant "have you seen another piece like this mum" every 30 seconds!
I have been a stepmum for 11 years now and the first 5 years were a nightmare with OH's ex trying to cause trouble between us so we'd split up.
( the only reason we didn't was because I wouldn't give her the satisfaction!)
Anyway all is good now, the kids are old enough to make their own arrangements with us.
I admire your attitude MFD and wish I was more like you.xDS1 12/10/04

Ebay photos and clearing out my sock drawer on the list for today. Damn, but things are exciting when you have a baby. Actually, the New York Times has a moment in time thing going on today where you're supposed to take photos at 4pm and we're going to do that later on. The plan was to go to the Englischer Garten but the weather is a little bit unlikely.
That's a fab idea (photo, not sock drawer!). I will now also be taking a photograph later0 -

me and my brother had a special language for the pieces: a 1x8 block was a 'thin eighter' a 2x8 was a 'fat eighter' then there were 'flat fat eighters' (those squat ones). So you could always say 'pass me that red flat fat fourer!' and the other one immediately lobbed over the correct piece

Morning everyone.
Had a nice day at wedding on Friday (I waved to Tia on the way past as it was near her (I think!)). Weather stayed nice so that was good, although my poor toes are cut from my ridiculous high heeled peep toe shoes. My feet are too pampered and not used to it. And I have a massive bruise on my back where I stood up and caught it on a big heavyweight picture hanging on the wall. Ouch!
Stayed overnight with MIL who was watching Holly, and ended up spending the day with her yesterday too - went visiting a few relatives and cooked dinner for MIL before coming home late last night.
Not sure what we are doing today. Going to Costco anyway. Tomorrow is DH's birthday, so we are going out for sushi!! Yay. :T
Hope everyone is having a nice holiday weekend.0 -
