Evening all
and yaaay for Rhys constant progress Elle, it's so great to hear about
I like this constant feeding-in-pool Tia, but is it not a bit cold?Especially in grim, icy Scotland?
I bought the paddling pool Sami linked the other day (thanks Sami!) and just waiting for it to arrive for the carnage to begin.
Poor Caz, insomnia is such a painis it worth seeing someone about it? It's so frustrating.
We've had quite a nice day, all 3 of us out at farmer's market (complete with morris dancers!) then park in the morning; then Pizza Express for supper just now. Made slightly more stressful by OH's morning sicknessdry heaving in restaurants never well-received! Also I felt v stupid for printing out a voucher then leaving it on the sofa, costing me nine quid or something

Tia - how much milk is Amber on now?
J dropped another bottle today so we are just on one in the morning and one at night
These lads on BGT are good!
K dropped a bottle this week too, down to 4 now for fat pie. I've stopped the Goodnight milk as I think it was sitting to heavy on his tum and he wasn't settling as well and a bit greety which hes never been before.
Hes in his own room  3rd night tonight, all going well0 -

I was waiting to see what people portion size was before I said but thats what he eats after his puree tea and puddingI'm never sure he'll get enough if hes feeding himself bits and pieces so he gets his tea then eats again with us!
I honestly don't know where he puts it all cos hes not overly big or heavy, followed the 50th bang on from birth for weight, hes quite tall tho0 -
Go Jack!! I missed his pulling himself up the first time round.

The Goodnight milk says to only give 6ozs but I think he would drink more - if he's dropping a bottle I might try him on normal follow on and give him 8oz tomorrow night and maybe give him a bit of porridge 30mins before.
Ooo forgot he was in his own room - glad it's going OK.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Caz, yep, beer. Oh is your neck still sore? Mine is, I need a massage. We should go to a spa. One with hot naked men (so I can point at the willies and giggle)

Just wanting opinions on what other peeps term a portion size for a baby? For instance when K is having Mac cheese, how many pieces is a meal? Big people pieces not baby mac?
Also I gave him sausage and chips off my plate tonight, halfed a sausage widthways then lengthways so like a big finger (1/4 of a sausage) and he ate about 3/4 of it and 3 chips. Would folk call that a dinner? I'd call that just trying a taste? I think I'm expecting too much lolAny question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
