How you feeling Caz? Still tired?
Jillie, Amber now refuses puree's. She gets fed in the paddling pool though (it's great), tonight she had half a tomato sliced up, some cucumber and some chicken strips fried in olive oil (we were having fajitas). She managed to eat the chicken the tomato and cucumber was too hard. But potato wedges got munched and some tortias with fajita sauceyness. For lunch she had a banana cut in half, then some of my sandwich.
She had a big gag on a wedge, DH panicked but she managed to get it all up (and then swallowed back down). The gags are scary but so far, she hasn't choked at all.
I need to get some quick cook ideas for when our dinner is not ready and she is yelling
Bed time for the boys. DH can do it since he wants to go next door.0 -
5 watchers on the crib, 2 on the bumbo and 2 on the twister (hope that sells, I've stripped it all down and washed it all!). Good stuff! :d0

Caz, yes its a bloody fire lol!
GP told me we could be like this for another few weeks! She told me to come back in 2 weeks because she doesn't think I have PND, she thinks I'm still recovering from that virus.
Tired all day but at night I can't sleep, or I wake up and can't fall back over, it's horrible.0 -
yay for teeth, sleeping through - very jealous of both!
Yeah for Amber rocking!
Well done Rhys :j
NMS - what awful news. Very  for you. At least they didn't come upstairs x
Been busy tidying up and getting ready for visitors over the next few weeks. Jack has started pulling himself up today - he did it on OH's leg so I missed it but then he did it for me too. :j
He has also proper escaped the Bumbo- I popped him in there when I went to put the tea on, heard a bang and he was on his back on the floor. But he's got a lovely mark on his forehead so he must have got out, hit his head face first then rolled over and hit it again
Tia - good idea with the paddling pool! I think I'll start feeding Jack on the floor cos most of his food ends up on the floor anyway!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

Kieren likes purees or real people food and nothing in between, mash is blah!
Just wanting opinions on what other peeps term a portion size for a baby? For instance when K is having Mac cheese, how many pieces is a meal? Big people pieces not baby mac?
Also I gave him sausage and chips off my plate tonight, halfed a sausage widthways then lengthways so like a big finger (1/4 of a sausage) and he ate about 3/4 of it and 3 chips. Would folk call that a dinner? I'd call that just trying a taste? I think I'm expecting too much lolGP told me we could be like this for another few weeks! I've not been feeling great. Really tired and down but not sleeping well atall. Also a bit up and down, overthinking things and being a bit OTT and generally feeling scabby.
Had diawoowoo every day for a fortnight too but weirdly only in the mornings! Last 2 days have brightened up quite a bit, don't know if I've been ill or over stressing about back to work on Wednesday.
Never mind, on the up now! Touch wood!0
