You'll have to bang another one out ;) That's basically what she said to me last time i was in there. I'd get "priority" for a 3 bed if i had 3 kids, no matter how old they were, as long as mixed sex...

Yeah i would, they might not have said it then but are now trying to change the terms.

On a totally unrelated and random note, i was thinking about fitzilian and alfie the other day. Wonder how things are getting on?

Also wondered what happened to nancmat and mountainlioness. There was others too, who just disappeared!

I'm friends with nancmat on fb. She seems to be really busy having a RL and lots of fun with her cute LO.

Sorry, flyby post as just finished catching up but off to bed now.

beenie, i thought about mountainlioness at one point because she was really fun. Stalked her to the point where saw that she basically hasn't logged on since baby was born. Also, fidget is active on fb, but never came over here.

Sm, that's surely !!!!! about the pets. I wonder if the rspca or similar would help u fight it.

Sorry for disappearing OH managed to get E to sleep so off to bed I went

How do you keep a baby awake during the day? he was awake loads yesterday so thought he would be ok come night time but no, it took 3 hours from having his bottle to bed (and tears from mammy)

I mean he just spazzes out in my arm after a bottle sometimes, should I wake him instead?

I am just worried that by bedtime if he's been awake too much he will be overtired and he gets mega cranky when he's tired

I personally go by the recommended a-baby-should-never-be-awake-for-more-than-2-hours-at-a-time. We also started off using the generic Baby Whisperer 3-hour EASY routine, so he was awake for 1.5 hrs and asleep for 1.5 hrs making a 3 hr cycle. He's now roughly on a 4 hr cycle of 2/2. Basically, the rough principle is that sleep begets more sleep, so by having good naps during the day, he will sleep better at night. Keeping a baby awake all day usually has negative consequences and will not result in better night sleep.

Just my experience and from what I've read, but obviously lots of people reject things "they" say, so feel free to ignore. It's worked for us, but every baby is different.

Anyway, t'is very quiet this morning though still very early! We're off to make a Finn an official American :D - he has celebrated already by waking up at quarter to 6 :o.

    Fergie has got one. :p

Kindof I also believe they sleep better at night if they also sleep in the day iykwim! Although V only ever has about an hour in the day, if she misses that hour she's a proper grump by teatime, then seems to pass tiredness and won't go to bed! **Bring back the confused smiley!**

    Thanks guys :)

Well E woke back up at 6.00am and is still awake now ... eek, he had a bottle at 7am (3oz) but he's in his swing chomping on his hand (I swear to god he would eat puree, but I know he's too young, dont worry I wont give him food yet)

He just doesnt look lik he is going to go to sleep anything soon and if you hold him too long he cries, and if I just put him in his pram/cot bed he will cry after a while if he hasnt fallen asleep

How weird! I was thinking about Mountainlioness just yesterday! I remember her and Fitzio used to confuse me cos their avvy's were similiar colours!

    Speaking of Avvy's - 3 I like it :D

Jack had me up at 6.10am *yawn* and then I remembered I'd forgotten to put the bins out last night so was doing that at 6.30am - not simple as have to move the cars around!

Off to get ready to go out - going to the Trafford Centre to meet a friend for an early lunch then home to finish the rest of the house!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
