lol i tried to fake tan myself the other day, didn't quite work out
I thought the sun trick wasn't working but after i lazily left some stuff out for a few days they did disappear so we're back to white :T
I do have about 2kg of Vanish powder though, not MSE
So many of Holly's clothes have stains on them now. I need to hang them out one sunny day and see if it works.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »
Wow! Those do look like a good price. I am very tempted myself even though she's not big enough yet!
I purchased this yesterday though so perhaps I need to save my money for lunches out to show it off!
I am not sure what to do. Holly is still in 6-9m clothes, and I keep thinking she is getting much bigger and will have outgrown them soon, so I have been buying stuff in 9-12m so I have a stock for when she needs it. The problem is, every time I get her weighed, she is less than I expect, and is still well within the limits of 6-9 clothes. I now fear that by the time she grows into the 9-12, summer will have past and it will all go to waste! But I am hoping to go on hols in Sept so we will need summer clothes (so don't want to return them as the shops will get rid of summer stuff soon), but it's not definite as OH's job may be under thread, so we may never use them!
And in the meantime, we are rotating the same 4 or 5 outfits as I don't want to buy any more summery stuff in 6-9, and most of the stuff she has is long sleeved as she's been wearing it since about March!
Ignore me, I am just confused and voicing my dilema!0 -
My baby has a cut under his eye and will probably have a black eye
Sorry to hear that and hope he is better soon. These things happen and I know it's hard not to blame yourself, but it was just an accident.
Would you like me to set OH on fire for you?Jakesmummy wrote: »
Does anyone know of any safety device that keeps blind cords out of the way, or clips them together maybe?
Could you loop them up and peg them with a clothes peg? Be cheaper than buying some sort of device.
Or just tell her no everytime she goes near them and move her to a safe place. She'll soon learn you get cross if she's near the blinds.OH is on a week off work this week and seems to think this means a week off everything, he's only just got up, if i ask him to do something he says "well what would you do if i was at work you'd have to do it yourself" argh he's a idiot, would love to know when my annual leave is!!!
That narks me too!
Busy morning but got my jobs done. Taking Jack to the vets later to get his wound checked.
I checked it last night and it seems well healed up though, so I took his lampshade off. He was really excited about getting it removed, but then got a shock when he went to lick his balls :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -

Fitz - they are absolute bargains! Benjamin loves the playhouse and slide at the CMs so he will use them...although I can see him spending all his time at the patio door crying to be let out in the rain :rotfl::rotfl:
Have you tried any of the bigger clothes on her? It won't matter too much if they are a bit loose in the warm weather.
Also in winter we put long sleeved white vests underneath t-shirts so they can be worn all year round.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Thanks, ive ended up ordering some of the ones fitzio linked to (thanks fitz), she's just a nightmare ive spent all morning fishing her off places she shouldnt be, she thinks it hilarious when i shout at her lol!! i worry about if i pop out of the room for something and she starts messing near them, thanks though x0 -
Fitzio - J is in 9-12m and it's a bit big for him. I bought a load of t-shirts and shorts in matalan last week so I wasn't going to buy 6-9!
Not had him weighed for ages but I think he's about 21lbs (my bathroom scales said this) - some 9-12 fit OK and others are a bit big.
MFD - That slide is fab but I fear our garden may be a bit small
