3 - who is it aimed at? L?
Oh my lord, I finally went to Sainsburys at lunchtime and went to get a preg test and they keep them in sealed security boxes!!! So you have to take a big plastic box containing about a dozen boxes of tests to the checkout and tell them that you want 1. The checkout lady takes one out and then buzzes to get someone to take the box back!!!!
Needless to say I passed and will buy one from somewhere more convenient!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I got the BB email too, but I don't think I'll bother rejoining.
We got some bunting stickers that I put on a wall in Charlotte's room, a promo copy of a Pop Party CD, and a handbag organiser that is a waste of space reallyHere I go again on my own....0 -
I'm getting some Teetha granules from BB. The only other thing I've had is a box of Spatone when I was pregnant, so not the most exciting items, but worth more than a fiver.
Henry had his first experience in a creche today! I had my NCT hat on at a Maternity Services meeting and there was a free creche. He didn't seem too bothered by it to be honest, but I felt like a proper grown-up for the first time in ages.
It also prompted me to book in with our hospital's birth afterthoughts service. I'm not unhappy with the way H's birth went, but I would like a bit more information about some things that are a little hazy so hopefully this will help. I think I was prompted by the way people kept talking about 'normal' births this morning, which made me feel a little, which is silly really.
We're off swimming in a bit.
EA- if you're nervous of water I would let OH hold Lily the first few times as she will pick up on you being uncomfortable, and you want her to feel happy in water. You don't need a swim seat, but LOs seem to enjoy them. H only lasted about 20 minutes in the water the first few times we went, not he can do about 45 minutes but it is tiring for them.
Beenie- when if the sound person coming?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I'm guessing it's aimed at the bigger two, or me & OHas it says 3+ on the box.
It looks perfect for taking to a barbeque this Saturday though. :T
I've just booked/paid for the Horse Boy Camp. Now I have 3 weeks to get my head around the scarey drive.
Going to nip to Asda now to hunt out lovely steak.
OH text earlier to say 2 exams done and 1 to go and he wasn't feeling great about them - but that's a very him thing to say. I'm sure he'll be fine.:beer:0 -
GISI - at 2pm apparently. Susan and Alice should be here soon :j0
-
Beenie - have you got a joiner in to fix your house up for Susan coming?
Mel - you are better than me. Holly might wake at 6, but she ends up in with me and no breakfast until 8am!!0 -
Fingers crossed for your OH 3.
Whilst we are talking about OH's I will just share what the sonographer (the same one that told us Benjamin was a boy) told hubby yesterday. He said that over 40 there is little to worry about in terms of testicular cancer because it is a young mans disease and quite rare over 40.
We were both very surprised by this and I thought you might find it interesting (and I have nobody else to tell because I haven't spoken about it IRL LOL).
So all of you with young OH's - make sure they check themselves over. xplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
On the subject of BB I'm really happy with the product I was sent this week. We got one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Little-Bird-Told-Me-Snuggle/dp/B002FGIWLQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1277901187&sr=8-2
and H loves it! Much better than the playmat I bought her and defo worth the £5 membership.
Other good stuff today- we're using our Joey Sling for the 1st time and its great! So comfy, she's fast asleep and I've got loads done! We did try putting it on when she was about a week old but she looked so tiny and fragile in it it made us nervous but she's much more robust now!
Beenie - Good luck with the HO today!0 -
I think BB pick and choose the products for me - we've had a preemie babygro (suitable for babies with wires & tubes), some anti-aging cream (coz I'm a mature mum), and some Braille alphabet blocks (coz they were stuck for testers and I've worked with VI kids & adults). I wait to see what we get next!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
