Maybe we should put it as an 'event' on facebook. Does anyone know how?

I think an admin has to do it? Sami?, Searchie?, MM?

I need to leave feedback for my medela mini breastpump. It came quicker than expected so I'm happy to leave +ve feedback but there's a couple of things i'm a bit narked about and I want to know if I'm just being pedantic or if i should mention them.

Firstly there's no instructions included. She listed everything and didnt mention instructions but IMO you should stress no instructions included.

Secondly she said it was in excellent condition and only been used for 3 wks, however altho i'm happy with condition it doesnt look like something that has only been used for 3 weeks - the included bottles have scratches on them.

I have a little boy who wont nap again today.....where's my swing?????

    Hi all :)

Glam - where did you get the weather report from? I've been trying to find out what the weather will be like when we go away :)

gill - I would leave neutral if you're happy with everything else but put in the comments that it was in good rather than excellent condition.

But she gave me loads of things I could do, I'll list them in case anyone is interested:

1)simplify my language, 'not 'where's the ball?' or 'Oh ball gone!' but just ball.
    2) repetition. Say it absolutely loads of times 20-30 times in a single exchange, even if you feel daft.
3)start with the sounds things make, like 'woof' or 'miaow' cos that makes sense, rather than the word 'dog' why dog, could just as well be called 'table'
    4) offer choices so he has to give some kind of output, ie not just give a drink when he makes an 'i'm thirsty' noise, but hold up milk and juice so he has to announce his need in some way.

You're probably all clever mummies who've thought of all this naturally, but I thought I'd post in case you're like me.

Anyhow, I need to try it for 4-8 weeks and then get back to them if he doesn't seem to pick up.

Bit sad now, but have strategies, so that's good isn't it? :)

Have been back to pick up an old post....

Weezl - I know it has only been 10 days and it was suggested that 4-8 weeks 'practice' was needed but I wondered how you and Fergie were getting on?

    xx

I've done this thanks - feel a bit mean but it's her own fault! Glad she's already left my feedback :D
