I'm going to a wedding in August with a no-heels rule! It's in a church hall that's just had a new floor so the invite just says flats or wedges only! I think I'll take advantage and wear flats!

Our neighbours are playing the Stereophonics at full blast in their garden.

The first one was quite informal but due to grooms cousins having lots of kids they didn't want any more. The one I got today is really formal, at some castle in York, it came with instructions that if you wear heels that are smaller than a stamp you have to buy special heel covers and they provided a website address and price of £4.99

When we get married I'll be in tracky's and trainy's by 7pm

Glam- I think J will wake up one morning with a full set of gnashers and surprise us all!
K's favourite word just now is yum. DD was sitting on the sofa munching something the other day and he crawled right over pulled himself up on the sofa and tried to grab her plate, all the while saying 'yum, yum, yum' was so cute!

I know! He's top gum is absolutely bulging and I can feel raised bumps on his bottom gum so maybe it won't be long!

    Aw yum is very cute!

Jack has spent today saying Dada and standing up and then trying to balance on his own :rotfl: He fell on his butt so many times I couldn't help laughing! But we did manage 7 secs standing on his own

Oh and instead of his camp arm waving (forearm moving up and down) he now waves like the Queen with his arm in the air and he turns it :rotfl:

One of my friends got married in flip flops! But they were nice ones and all the bridesmaids wore them as well. Another got married in wellies but only for the walk to and from the reception as the road was really muddy :D I'm probably going to save a load of money not going to the York wedding so I shouldn't complain.

So my baby is behind with the talking as well as the teeth then??
Nah, Caitlyn's not talking at all!! She says Hiyaaaaaaa an awfull lot but mostly just to get old peoples attention so she can smile all coyly at them... apart from that just a lot of noises, dadada, adum, tsss, and today it sounded like she said apple... But there was not one in sight so I think it was just a new sound...

    Hi all

Had a lovely week away although the weather wasn't the best. A few pics here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=4151&id=100001150564551&l=bf977bbf4d. Krystal, thanks for the links, we did Pili Palas but didn't get to hold anything but C loved the bouncy castle :D

Hope that link works! We have crawling, Mowgli crawling, Mamma, Dadda, pulling up but no teeth either! Oh and still lots of night waking :o

Happy birthday SS (think it's today).

Have only caught up a few pages. Hugs to all xxx

Lovely pics JAM! I think you'll have to update your avvy ;)

Krystal - thanks for that. I know they all progress at different rates and TBH I hadn't expected any words until he was about 1!

JAM - Glad we aren't the only ones with out teeth! Elle - Rhys got any yet?

    evening!!

what a day at work .no blinking systems all day.... so of course anyone who had an 'issue' with their booking came in to shout at us. its not our blinking fault we have no systems

anyhoo... enjoying a nice glass of wine now.

looks like Kian is getting his 2 top front teeth. thats 6!!

and....early days but.....he has eaten a decent amount (6 weaning spoonfuls) at breakfast and later meal.

no crawling but he can push himself on the wooden flooring really quickly backwards and in circles. gets really frustrated that he cant follow me/us around the room though.

    how is everyone today?
