OH and his first wife had no children at their wedding, soooo weird!

I don't understand it in the slightest. Why would you not want children there? What was their reasoning?

DSS has eaten less than Benjamin today :( his temp is up but he is not feeling overly ill, his throat hurts when he swallows but he is mostly okay. I managed to get him to have some rice pudding before bed but I worry when kids won't eat - any tips?

Don't worry, he'll eat when he wants to. Lots of drinks and ice lollies. Tonsillitis is awful, no school on Monday! :(

'Cos she's a biatch and he did everthing she wanted. He spent years thinking they were trying for kids and we found the fertility pills when clearing out her stuff (she had an affair) and she hadn't been taking them.

Off to ask him now. X

I'm ok thanks Tara...and yes, dh does need a kick up the bum, but don't worry he is not getting a minutes peace, I have done non-stop naggin haha, it has caused a few arguments but tbh I couldn't care less....he is not going to sit on his backside while I run around like a loon and if he tries it (which he does) then he will have sore ears and a sore head!! he will soon realise it is easier to get up and help out:)

MFD the two reasons I can see for people not wanting kiddies at their wedding is 1, they have spent tens of thousands on it and don't want anything broken/wrecked/accidents etc through having children there. 2, They are extremely self-obsessed and couldn't bear the thought of their guests having to pay attention to anyone/thing other than them:)
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

    Figure of hate here then.

I didn't have any children at my wedding. We had a small wedding, but a few of our friends who came have children. They were glad to get babysitters and have a night out. It's unfortunate that Jenny doesn't have anyone to look after Erin, but it's entirely her friend's decision who she invites to her wedding.

Sorry Fitzio. I just don't understand at all :o

But anyone who is my friend and has had a child makes their child important in my life too...

*is confused and glad I haven't ever come across this IRL*

Edit - would be interested if you would change your mind now Fitzio - feel free to ignore me - just being nosey! xx

my reasoning to it is why spend loads of money on just one day when you could use it to set up the rest of your life .. some people spend £1000's and £1000's on a day when you could just have a cheap day saying your vows (which is the only part thats suppose to matter) and use those £1000's on the savings for a house or setting up the house you already have for your future family life .. sorry went in to one there :o x
