Have a nice day SM :) and everyone else who's making the most of the nicer weather. Not jealous of GISI's farmers' market at all ;)

Just back from farmers' market here :) bought a controversially expensive piece of organic beef for a lovely Sunday roast, and some nice pastries and cheese :) we were lured into the cheese cuz they had sample bowls and the stall-holder thought E was cute so held up the bowl to him and let him scoop handfuls of lumps out :p plus some barbecuable bits and pieces. Then we're off to a Mexican place in central London for a friend's birthday lunch shortly.

Elijah is currently repeatedly headbutting the soft padded foot-stool we have, and loudly counting each headbutt! Except that his counting skills are a bit limited, so he is getting to 12 and starting again, or sometimes getting to three then skipping to eleven...

    Morning all :D

Hope you are all well. I am wide awake and yet very very sleepy at the same time today. I have been up since 5.30 to go and queue outside the leisure centre to get the summer scheme places booked for Jas. So I am now officially the best mummy in the world according to my daughter as I got her horseriding and swimming :D YEAH ME !! lol

Dylan now has 5 teeth and has been doing amazingly well at his physio. We have a 6 week break from hydro now for the summer, so I am going to have to buy a cossie and take him to the pool myself !!! Dreading it !!

Happy Birthday to SS and ((hug)) to all the lovely mummy and daddyies :)

SJ, its a first come first served thing for all the summer kids classes in the area, and it opens at 8.15 for one day only. Some of the parents are there all night to get the really popular stuff like surfing and body boarding and normally the horseriding too, but I was able to get the last spot on it this year for her :D And its only 1 day of having to get up stupidly early and she now has something to do 4 weeks of the 8 week summer so she wont moan at me as much !! lol its a win win !!

Hey Bruno, you're always talking about going to the farmer's market - which one do you go to? We used to live near the Oval one, but when we moved I failed to find a new (good) one.

Ack, I have a 10% eBay voucher that expires tomorrow - valid only in Baby category - whatever should I buy? :D:D

    Hi Aless,
We go to the Wimbledon Park market, which is every Sat 9am-1pm, we go every second week or so as a rule. I think it's a pretty good one but I suppose it depends what you are looking for :) they have decent fruit and veg, meats and bakers, mainly.

hey, Zia gurus...as we know, the shopping basket is crap. Which one of these bags do you think would work better? Do you have something else you use with your Zia?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NET-BASKET-PETITE-STAR-ZIA-BLACK-bag-/150445762673?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item2307442871

I know the net basket will hold much less, but I'm concerned that the wedge one will hang too awkwardly (I will kick it/bang knees into it when walking) and you can't use it at any sort of recline.

eta: Thanks Bruno, probably a bit far for us unless as a very special treat.

There's a slightly smaller one in Clapham on Sundays if that's any better. Went there once or twice.
