I didn't realise it was higher? Have you been out walking with it yet, it's nice and bouncy!

Did you like my packaging? It's amazing what you can do with a bit of left over laminate flooring underlay and a couple of bin bags! :p

Oh yes, much higher! I put them side by side and theres a good 6 inch height difference!
Kieren was loving it! Walked round to the shop and he was bouncing all over singing!

Packaging was great, so great in fact you may see some of it again

    eta: have fun SS!!

There's one in Dudley ending today that I would totally have got for Caitlyn but they're in Netherton and Dave said it's too far for him to go after work... :(

Ooh, might ask my Mum later if she fancies a trip out lol...

    ETA: Have fun SS!! :D

ETA 2: Caitlyn just found half a potato and is currently consuming it... I don't know where she had it stashed but I think that's my cue to vaccuum when we get back from school...

I thought you were sending him to Liverpool then! :D

  • Oooh, GISI, have I 'seen' you since the wedding? How did it go? Did you have a good time?

MFD, how were OH's test results?

And is it Tara's OH's results today too?

I think I must have missed a day!

    xx

Hubby got the all clear, which is a relief to say the least. Although having said that he is still very run down and not particularly well so I expect the saga to continue at some point.

Tara's hubby's results are today, keeping my fingers crossed for him.

I have no room for a little chair (unless Benjamin relinquishes some toys LOL) but I WANT ONE *stamps foot*

Silly question but I will go ahead anyway :p :
When does my baby stop being a 'baby' in other peoples eyes?

To me he is still a babba, albeit a walking, talking, stropping, getting his own way babba - do others think of him as a baby, or a child? or a toddler?

And more's the point why do I care?

Sorry - work is frying my brain today!

Enjoy the party, SS. Sounds like it will be fun.

Glad to hear hubby got the all clear, MFD. Not sure on the baby question. I guess I consider them babies until about 2, then toddlers but not sure why I think that .

It was fab thanks, SB. Very sunny, lots of wine was consumed and H was a very good boy. I'll see if I can find a pic of me in my finery.

To me Alice stopped being a baby around when she was one. But one person used to really annoy me by calling her and referring to her as "Baby Alice" until she was about eighteen months as if "Baby" was part of her name. I use "Baby" as a title quite often when introducing a new baby to Alice so she knows who I'm talking about but not as a permanent title.

My tax credits award arrived this morning for those who renewed around the same time as me. Just in a brown envelope this time. Although, I don't think it means much it says provisional (or something like that) so it may get messed with at the emergency budget.
The current year's tax credit award is always provisional until you've submitted the actual income figures for the year which won't be until after the end of the year. (Not saying they won't change with the budget but they always say provisional.)
