Thanks Sami, but I have tried 5 Asdas and 3 Tescos and they were all sold out or never had it in stock. That's why Csh was trying to find it elsewhere for me. Will have a look later.

Catching up on 24 just now then Ipswich murders drama.

  • Hello everyone

congrats to walking V - mine has been doing exactly the same for what seems like ages - walking with one hand attached and cruising like a pro - but won't take that leap. Hopefully soon though...

Wish I could come to Croydon Ikea next Weds. I used to live close and hated it with a passion but now i have baby I love it, mainly because H is so entertained by the place - typical I've moved aound the M25 now (Woking end). There is defo a breastfeeding area, it is sort of at the back of the cafe, almost next to (but separated by a wall) the hot food bit.

Any tips on how to stop little girls from biting and pinching? Am getting very bored of saying 'No' firmly.

When we were out last Tue, the Asda we were at had them, but I didn't think I could manage the box with the pushchair and other stuff, so thought I would get one at an Asda nearer home. No such luck. Could go back to the same one, but I imagine they are probably sold out too by now! Never mind. Will find one somewhere. John Lewis and Kiddicare are also out of stock - it must be popular!

DK, wish you could come! I was thinking of you last week when I was in Victoria. Is any M-F bad for you then? Maybe we'll have to meet up on a Saturday next time so those that work can come to :) (though not in IKEA as I don't think you could pay me enough to be in there on a weekend).

    3, well done!!! :T :T

Well done V! Gonna have to have words with El tomorrow, theres about a month between them so I'll have to give her a deadline! She could do it I think but crawling is so much quicker.

She keeps putting holes in the knees of her trousers so I am desparate for her to walk now, its affecting my Ebay resales!

Yeah, well we bath her once a week :o We wash her hair when she's bathed with johnsons as its always greasy! As she has so much hair and its getting longer now, people feel the need to run their greasy hands and fingers through it. And it starts to smell :(

I found using something other than johnsons to wash her hair cleared El's cradle cap up in less than a wekk

SJ - (if you don't have a terrible hangover) I am going to stay and play at southroyd 10.30 tomorrow if you are at a loose end (code for Joe driving you mad)

  • Hi Aless

Just Weds that's permanently out for me, well for the next few months. H goes to nursery then while I try and find a bit of consultancy, but as that's looking unlikely not sure how long that'll be for. Otherwise I am a complete lady of leisure!

I agree with IKEA about the weekend - we used to get all the traffic blocking our route out unless we got out before a certain time on a sunday - also played a fun game when we had to go - how many couples can you see having a domestic in IKEA? Usually in double figures...
