Oh bum...no matter how hard we try to get out of our current naff situation and improve our future we get knocked back:( We have been thinking about starting our own business but now realise we won't be accepted for loans etc as we have 'bad debt' not sure where to turn...anyone any ideas? I have thought about Prince's trust as it is age 18-30 so I just about fall into the category, but it is more a business that dh is passionate about so doubt I could wing it so I could get funded;) Looks like it will have to go on the back burner until we can either pay off the debt or raise the money ourselves:(

I'm not on my work lappy so haven't got all the links but there are lots of places you can looks for funding. I did find this link HTH.

Mel, sometimes there are other grants available - it's worth asking your local council or library for information.

Thanks guys...I suppose I am mainly venting. I will look at the links too, although I have just been over on the small biz board and chatting to some people who have clarified that in our situation we would be unlikely to secure funding:(

We will keep exploring all options anyway:) It is just very frustrating:(

    xx
