HTC desire and i player??

Hi I have just recieved my htc desire I have eventually got to grips with it but i can't seem to be able to watch i player ( i have only tried via wifi) cqan any one tell me if its possible or how to do it. I am getting aa message saying it needs shockwave ?? I'm not techy so need easy steps and lots of help.

    I think your supposed to use beeb player in the market place it is free!!

    It is and beeb works fine on the Desire (from my limited playing with it). Although I suspect it will use a lot of anyone's 'fair use' limit on most mobile tariffs, but not an issue of you are using wifi.

  • Does the i player work on the desire on tmobile phones? i have the 5800 and it doesnt work on that for 3g connection. Does anyone know if this is the same case with the desire??

    No, as hardper said, the iPlayer doesn't work on the Desire, you have to get the beebplayer fom the android market. I think I read somehwere that it's the iPlayer but goes via a 3rd party to make it work. It works fine on my Desire.

    i am twiddling my thumbs waiting for a confirmed delivery date and for them to deliver on that date as was supposed to get it on 22nd but never got it due to bloody three network. back to seeing more desire videos and reading how to's till i get the phone to keep me busy
