Ringing Ryanair

I had to ring Ryanair again as they didn't ring me back. I rang the 0871 2460000 and got through to them in Bucharest!
Have your friends tried to change their booking via the Ryanair website? If they haven't checked in they will be able to do this free of charge. Problem we had was our lot had already booked in hence the calls to Ryanair to get the flights unlocked so new ones could be booked.
If they have already checked in I would suggest you call Ryanair for them but you will need their booking reference, names of party, address and email address used for the booking. I needed all of those but didn't have the address. These were needed for security purposes but forunately I was able to contact someone else for it. It takes about an hour for them to unlock the booking and then rebook, as we were told. However we realised they had unlocked it and we could rebook for the earlier date but they wanted to charge over £100 each hence I made another call to Ryanair and was able to get t it changed there and then FOC as it was "unlocked".
Be prepared to wait. You need Option 2. Both times I was told - automated service - waiting time was 7 mins. This morning took over 35 mins and this afternoon 47 mins - so be prepared for a long wait and don't put the phone down. 10p per minute is a damn sight cheaper than having to pay again, even though they can claim the money back which will take goodness knows how long. Good Luck.0 -
Thanks for replying Lara,
That's the same number they have been ringing for the past 2 days with no luck.
I have just told her about the online option & she said that their not entitled, as their flight from uk to tenerife wasn't cancelled just the return. Not sure if she applied online & this is what they replied, or if this is what she has gathered from the info online.
Will try to contact her again to find out.0 -

You're welcome. They couldn't get through to the number from Malta either hence I was asked to do it this end.
It was only the return that I had to query. If the outbound hadn't gone they wouldn't have been stuck out there. I can't see why your friends can't do the same as we have :undecided. Like I said before if they have checked in online then they have to go through the 0871 number (reservations desk) to alter it.
Anyway hope you manage to sort something out for them.
