Ringing Ryanair

I've got family in Malta trying to contact Ryanair on the number they've quoted on their website. They keep getting cut off, unsurprisingly.

Apart from 0871 number quoted on their website has anyone managed to get through? I've tried the corresponding number given on 0870 but that isn't working.

Thanks.

Glad its not just me, spent 3 days so far on hold and still not got through. They must be making a whole lot of money out of this prob far more then their £5 a pop flights.

    Hi All,
this is why I am here! I've been trying to change flight details and I'm not being allowed to book a return flight! I can free exchange a flight outward but not return. Like you I get cut off after a few minutes. O'Leary making money out of everything again.:mad:
    All clear now of debts:beer:

I managed to get through on the 0871 number in the end. Estimation of agent answering phone was 7 mins. 36 mins later they answered - all the way from Bucharest! Have to say though the person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. Bonus was I could understand her :).

Anyway we have hopefully got it sorted and flight altered although she said it takes an hour. After asking me to call back to confirm I managed to convincer her to call me as I wasn't sure I'd ever be connected again! She agreed, took my number, gave me her name and now we are just waiting for the confirmation call.............

If you have checked in online you can only alter the flight by ringing the 0871 number. I found the other numbers on the www.saynoto0870.com either say the number is not recognised or it rings a couple of times and then disconnects.

Fingers crossed we are lucky in altering the flight.

Yes but it cuts off after a couple of rings. Hence I tried here and got the same so tried 0871 number but had to try twice before it connected. Still waiting for call back confirmation though................
  • What a nightmare this has all been. Back from Tenerife last night had to fly into Glasgow and get my sister to do a 10 hour round trip to collect me and my 2 friends. Ryanair cancelled our flights twice, told me i can claim back hotel/food and transfers but keep receipts and gave me an address to write or fax when i got home. This morning however it was a different story and they are in no way obligated to pay me back. Just read on website they have a change of heart and are now doing so?? And the number they gave us on the website was of no use either. have a £38 phone bill waiting for me now also

Yes apparently they have no choice but to reinburse you. EU regulations and all that!
  • well its nice to know, was getting a bit worried as I paid a different airline 750 euros to fly us home. I don't expect to be able to claim that back, but Ryan air did say they would refund the return fare which will go some way to help us financially
